There's not a single shit weapon in this anymore.
The flamer is also one of my favs now.
On my second playthrough on hard and...the only complaint is that the game is far too easy. The weapons seem so much more powerful now than the original.

Thankfully I’ve found a couple parts of the game that are so fucking hard all of a sudden that I’ve had to carefully plan out my load out and arrange exploding barrels around the place before pushing the button.
Not sure what chapter I’m in or how far to go. Just launched the beacon and went to the tram. Thought I’d look for some side quest stuff for a bit before realising it was 1am-ish.

Finished this morning. Loved it and had forgotten loads. 19 hours played on easy as I wanted to do a run-through with only the one weapon, (and I'm shite!) which I did  I have started a NG+ on higher skill of course and will likely cain this week. The game will be sold asap though. Atmosphere, lighting and sound were all so bloody good as was the combat, but as I say using only 1 gun for entire campaign I am looking forward to mixing it up a bit on NG+ I missed a good few side missions almost without realising so the completion time for 2nd run will be longer I think as I would like to mop up and see everything. Hopefully it sells well enough to do a remake of 2, and actually I enjoyed 3 but I will keep that to myself! 10 hacked off limbs out of 10 |

I enjoyed Dead Space 3 as well, though admittedly I only played it once, whereas I've played Dead Space 1 and 2 at least twice. I think it's the whole microtransactions in a single player game which really (and understandably imo) soured people on that game. Well, that and the fact that, from what I remember, it was really combat heavy. But I don't think it was a bad game.

Half way through Chapter 11 now. I have a funny feeling I've managed to miss the force gun. Not sure how that happened. I've even gone back into all the max clearance areas. Hmm. Not too bothered mind you. Fully upgraded (or near enough) Plasma Cutter, Ripper and Line Gun is making short work of everything. Plus, I'm finally using all that Line Gun ammo.

Just started second run (NG+) on higher diff and using (other weapons) rifle, at moment, this swill change. Very refreshing after 19 odd hours with the Cutter, albeit that was a fully spec'd beast! I have also found a couple of rooms with audio logs that I missed only a few days ago during initial runthrough!

So you know the cult like rooms of the Unitologists, the ones where there are candles in a circle on the floor?
If you look at the circle, there are footprints and hand icons placed all around. If you stomp, and punch within the circle in the order that it shows you on the floor, you get a hidden item.

I don’t remember, I scour locations pretty thoroughly and came across all the weapons. I did use a guide after I got the maximum security pass to take me straight to the locations it’s needed (again, because I don’t remember). |

The corpses in this have a Dark Souls quality to them. I keep getting dead necromorphs caught up in my feet. I panicked the other night as I caught something flailing around my legs but turned out to be the corpse of poor worker.
