I mean c'mon, we all know he isn't taking any of that shit. The cunt is blatantly vaccinated. It's the grift, the everlasting grift of just saying the opposite of what you're doing. We had the same over here in Ireland with Jim Corr of The Corrs fame. Cunt against vaccines and all that Shite and was pictured in a restaurant in Dublin. The place when questioned said all patrons had to produce a valid covid cert. Cunt was caught out. "go on, go on, leave him breathless!"

Yeah but this house is full of covid. A 2 year old and a 5 year old spreading it to all corners! To be honest I’ve not even tried to avoid it as it’s impossible when they are that age. You might make it. We are all now testing negative here, but the kids were both testing positive for the last two weeks. I've been "under the weather" (same symptoms as the kids, but negative on the tests) so I think the 3 jabs helped get me through it. I'm going to test positive now aren't I.... Just had to rush out and pick the boy up from school. Done a test and I think there is a very faint line there. I won't bother testing myself again until the morning, but I've got a sore throat so I'm guessing that's the start for me. So far, the kids have been no worse than the usual colds they get which is good. Hope you don't test positive now btw, that would suck after making it through 2 weeks!

Had a bad night last night. Hot, aches and chills in addition to my sore throat and general cold symptoms. Feel a little better this morning though.
Did a LFT which has a very faint, barely visible line. So faint that I’m not sure if I’m imagining it. Did another one, no line. I can’t believe I don’t have it as the rest of the house does with very similar symptoms. Might have to go get a pcr just to confirm.

I tested positive last week and after feeling like shit for a few days with flu type symptoms, felt generally ok yesterday and the LFD only showed a faint line, but still positive. As the day wore on I got more and more fatigued and was absolutely shattered by evening. Feel the same this morning and the test shows a much stronger line again.
Just wondering, whether any of you have experienced similar? Started to recover, only for it to kick in again? Might be that I was overdoing it by working (from home) and should have taken an extra day or two off.

Or you just accept it as positive, and then look to get out on day 6. Depends if you need the PCR for anything. Hope you're all holding up ok, can't be fun with 3 kids!

Seems pretty common to start to feel better and then plummet again, my neighbour was similar.

Chatting to a girl at work and she had a similar experience, totally fatigued over a week after catching it, to the point she barely had the energy to stand. I'm not quite that bad yet, but have told work I might need to take a bit more time to recover.

The boy is negative too on the LFT, but definitely has symptoms. So was thinking of going to get a drive through pcr for both of us. Or just start our 5 days from today as we both have symptoms and keep testing. It’s not fun with 3 kids but luckily the older two don’t seem too bad and I’m not too bad so far. Seems to be hitting my wife and the little one the worst at the moment.

Had the two crappy flu-like days last week but was feeling better, then last night felt like crap with blocked sinuses. Haven't felt too bad but it's definitely lingering.

I felt great for a week after recovery, then felt properly shagged the week after. Had to have a lay down most days and sleep a bit more. At one point my watch beeped to tell me my heart rate was below 40 for over a minute, I didn’t get much rest after that

I'on on Day 4 post positive LFD and echo the fatigue experience. The cov really does come and go in wavess. Right now, I feel OK actually, but sniffly. Last night I actually felt almost normal, but for most of yesterday until about 2pm I just couldn't be arsed to do anything. Had a nap for an hour and then managed to get some shit done in the late afternoon and evening.
The unpredictability is the most annoying thing. At times I feel like I'm alright to do stuff/work/etc, but then I start and I feel pooped. I feel guilty for slacking off, then have to remind myself I got rona.

I had a sore throat and coughing quite a bit on Sunday. Took a test which came up negative.
Then remembered a friend of ours had brought us lilies, which always do a number on my breathing.

Just had the test and trace people round to check the wife was isolating. They did drop off some tests though which was helpful.

So after 2 years I’m finally a covid statistic. Got my positive pcr back this morning. The boy is also positive so that’s the whole family. Mrs and baby have probably been hit worse so far, but hopefully they are over the worst of it now.

Not sure how we managed to contain postive cases and stop household spread.
You are all following the guidelines and throwing in a family pack of Monster Munch and a 3l bottle of coke in with then, then nailing your kids doors shut for 2 weeks?

We told the kids they would have to isolate in their rooms (we turned an exercise room into a bedroom for the youngest when they got it). We gave them an anti viral spray and said when they came out of their room to use the spray on their hands first and wear the mask. The youngest had their own bathroom and the eldest we cleaned the bathroom after their use and had the extractor fan on. Meals we took to them on trays and we had masks and cleaned everything afterwards with spray. They had TVs, Alexas and their laptops and we checked on them frequently. When they wanted to go out to the garden, they just did the hand spray and mask and went out.
It wasn't perfect as opening their door would let germs out (the eldest ventilated the room, the youngest - not a hope) and masks don't stop everything. Hence me getting unwell last week. But it was mild and neither of us tested positive. We looked upon it as just trying to reduce our exposure. There's no way you can stop it all. That and the jabs "seems" to have done the job.
Its' been hard work to be honest, but we're both at risk and have cats who could also catch it so we wanted to do what we could. The kids loved it.

Heh, I would've absolutely loved that as a kid given that you've got pretty much unlimited entertainment at your fingertips these days.

We decided not to isolate the kids when they got it. Just didn't seem right at 9 and 11. A few years old and they'll barely be leaving their pits anyway.
