But it could be people showing how they're proud to be members of the Council of Europe (it's the same flag)? It obviously isn't as it was organised by the EU Flag Mafia who've been doing things like this since 2016.
Brexiters should be pointing out how much better things are since we left, not whinging about people waving a flag, the only problem with that is they can't.

I assume the reason these people are calling on the BBC to start an inquiry is because they want stupid people to think that the BBC is some how responsible. I wouldn't be surprised if you looked back on comments from them that they all have called for the licence fee to be removed and/or complained about the BBC being a bunch of left-wingers.

I fear that would not turn out well, some people will never change their minds on something they've invested themselves in and Brexit is one of them. You'd have to walk around with blinkers and a bucket on your head not to be able to see how it's been a disaster but there's plenty of true believers still and that's not including the grifters who know it's gone wrong and they never expected anything else but it's been profitable for them.

Well, I read the article and what I did take from it is that the journalist questions if Starmer has the guts to reverse this particular disastrous border trade check (not Brexit on the whole). Of course, this boarder check is disastrous, no question there, but instead of totally blasting the government for making it (as he should) and leave it that, he is passing that burden to Starmer for not promising beforehand that he will reverse it.
Kind of rich from the journalist's part, me thinks, to ask Starmer to give his opponents (and their newspapers) plenty of ammunition to fight him before the GE.

They beggar belief." They beggar belief do they? Completely ignoring that this was always going to happen if the country left the EU?
"Oh but I didn't mean leave the single market or customs union" he'd probably say, then why bother leaving any of the fucking thing in the first place if you're going to abide to the European Parliament and ECJ rules but no longer have any authority over it?
