What do us in NZ get from you? I'm hoping for potato waffles and lemon-lime Calippos. Shame you can't send us decent fish and chips, but they're shit in most of the UK anyway TBF. Your companies get to sue our government, in secret if any of us exercising our sovereignty, negatively affects their profits. Because, yay.

In both cases I think I would prefer potato waffles.

TBF they are waffley versatile. I can still hear this but I can never remember the different between a noun and a pronoun. School should have been delivered via jingles.

The pragmatic approach of reversing brexit bullshit in living in reality.
"It should bring more confidence about doing business in the UK and recognises the need to work with the reality of doing business.”
Yeah we all knew that 7 years ago.

You know what guys, I have changed my mind and decided that Brexit was indeed a great thing for us to do. If we were in Europe now we would be dealing with heatwaves and fires. Instead we have this lovely constant downpoor instead - marvelous.

I stand by the view that about 10 years out of Europe and then return, is probably the best and suitable outcome.
I said before but all my life I've heard "bloody Europe red tape" and etc. Well, here you go, no Europe for you. Happy?
No, people won't really come out en masse and say they changed their minds but humans don't. They rarely admit to it and I'm ok with that. I don't need or want people to be humiliated. What I want is for them to see the value of something and go "oh yeah this works for us, on balance".

I will add that I will never not find it amusing when super lefty people who love Corbyn do mental gymnastics, as bad as those saying Farage is just a normal bloke, over the fact Corbyn did fuck all to campaign to stay in the EU and it was left to backbenchers and Cameron.
Corbyn was literally the worst man at the worst time, to me.

Tiniest violin in the world playing for Bregretors. Brexit it going to continue to get worse for at least another 3 years and practically we're likely to be 8 years from beginning the process of rejoining. The unnecessary debt created is going to be the best part of a trillion pounds by the time we're done and it's young people, who didn't get a say, whose taxes will service that debt for decades to come. F**k the thick c**ts.

The UK rejoining the EU is inevitable, current polling is knocking on the doors of 70% rejoin, things aren't getting any better with Brexit and are about to get a whole lot worse in November.
The only debate is how long it takes and that could be a lot quicker than a lot of people think.

I agree 8 years minimum before it's even considered. No chance an incoming Labour Government could include it next GE. And probably not the one after. But after that, with groundwork done towards the end of a 2nd term...maybe. there will be stealth rejoining though, like above, with freedom of movement left till last.

It'll be like the UKCA stupidity, things will just slowly change to what they were and even if we're "not" in the EU it'll be pretty much that until someone finally gets the balls to say we may as well be a full member again.

It'll be a gradual rejoin for sure. I also think we'll get FoM but incrementally. My mate's partner is Polish and works in event hospitality - but more high end; managing boxes for banks at cricket and football, etc. He says the industry is absolutely desperate for quality staff to return from EU.
Money talks, at the end of the day.

And if the decision does get given to the people I wait with baited breath to see the misinformation that comes out. It doesn't even matter if we're already living it you know how people are willing to ignore clear reality.

It's fine, I'm happy to live to in a Norway type situation where we just take most of the EU laws without inputting it.

I would trust the polling, but I wouldn't trust the reporting on it. Generally, the polls aren't asking if people would rejoin. They ask whether it is going well, which resoundingly people say no to. That doesn't mean that they would vote differently if offered another chance.
I believe if you ran the vote again it likely would comfortably go to remain this time. It would have gone remain if you had of done the vote again 24 hours later. But, a large proportion of those that voted leave still are adamant they want nothing to do with he EU and that the problems are all because the people in charge aren't doing it right. That group would cause a massive backlash if, say, Labour actually suggested re-joining and they would lose the next election.

I still don't believe it would be a comfortable victory, while people may be upset and angry with how things are going let's not confuse that with them wanting to go back to Europe, instead what's more likely is that they think that Brexit wasn't done "the right way".

What is the right way to do Brexit?
You ask that question and you'll get hundreds of different responses that probably all contradict each other.
Brexit is and always has been bullshit.
