Huh - a new page. Fancy that!
Creepy candy-peddling old men notwithstanding, does anyone know whether I'm going to be hit with Customs charges (and Royal Mail's infamous £8.00 'handling fee') if I order a €4.00 CD from Portugal?

Fuck sakes Jambo.
I'm 33. I shouldn't know what 8 track is. Yet, here we are and I can tell you most Christmas number 1s from about 1978 onwards.

I don't buy many CDs, but I do still buy games on tape (you'd be surprised how many new games for 8-bit micros come out on tape each year)

It's the old 'Every Leaver says "This isn't the Brexit I voted for!" And every Remainer responds "That's funny, because it's the exact Brexit I voted against."'

It's the Brexit I voted for

I do know folks who voted leave, and whilst is very easy to just something about leopards eating faces, the Brexit that was talked about, by some advocates, did not resemble the one we have ended up with. I think some people regret is fairly understandable.

I wonder who’ll have the balls to touch the subject first. Part of me feels it will be Rishi ahead of Starmer. Very much doubt it will be either. Negatively bringing up Brexit would be suicide for whoever did it. I'm sure Sunak would love Starmer to buckle, as that would be Labour kept out of the Red Wall once more and the next election will be a Brexit election all over again. I'm sure Starmer knows this and that is why they have to reiterate they won't go into the single market or customs union, making it absolutely clear they aren't reversing on any of those big, well known terms. Sunak will definitely not reverse Brexit. He is a true believer that genuinely wrote essays about Brexit as a kid. It will mostly likely be whoever comes along after the two of them are gone and will probably have to be a Tory that proposes it. As for "not my Brexit" types, I'm not really sure what they were expecting, particularly seemingly smart business people. The choice was either burn it all down or accept all the rules and have no say.

Bit of an awkward blunder for GB News

That poll has clearly been gate crashed by remoaner Twitter trying to trick people into thinking GB News viewers regret Brexit. Jokes on them though; no one is going to believe there are as many as 19,000 GB News viewers.

Yeah you could see him wanting to say how 19000 people in the poll was bollocks, but couldn't think of a way to say it without dicking over the channel or his viewers.

Aside from the quote from the tweet, him basically saying his companies wouldn’t be investing in the UK at the moment says a lot.

Daily I am utterly shocked how rare it is to see a bit of reality in politics about this. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64248048When even Starmer is now in full on xenophobic little Britain mode and pretending all is fine it is astounding there is no pushback about all this.
