The CEO has said today that the FIFA brand is an amazing brand but he hasn't nothing to share yet. I mean c'mon you don't say something like that if you're looking to be involved somehow and I think 2K have been looking at doing a football game for ages.

Dunno but the CEO saying they're not doing it would suggest it isn't them. Get Ubisoft to do it. Press X to nutmeg 4 players and score with a somersault kick. Collect 40 studs to make a new pair of boots.

Tried a few online games last night. Netcode was decent - especially compared to the last time I played PES online a few years ago. Took an awfully long time to find a match though, which is a shame. Made 2 teams quit before half time by going 2-0 up, but the 3rd match had me drawn against a team with Neymar, Romario and Mbappe so things went a little differently for my default bronze team and Lucas Moura.
I think I really like this. It's either that or it's so different to FIFA that a change is as good as a rest.

I think we expected that. Depends how much it is for me. £5-10 I might give it a whirl but I just don't like the gameplay enough as it is.

Given that its taken an extra year in development, with a botched launch, I would fully expect to play with more clubs than what we have currently at least. Master League better be worth it

New season has started online. I'm still really enjoying it. For anyone trying it I strongly advise setting passing control assists to level 3 for it to feel like a better game.

Do they mean coop mode or something? You can play against someone already, I've played against my boy a couple of times.

Must be co-op, assumed it was against someone. Also saw ref to not being able to sue a 2nd controller, which was clearly bollocks.

I've moved onto Fifa now, it's actually pretty good. New one looks decent too.

I got an invite to the closed beta of the new FIFA for some reason. I've got access to the full game for a week. Not sure if it's an early build but it feels a bit shit.

I dunno, passing feels worse, the players feel less responsive, the defenders just seem to run passed you. Only had a couple of games but feels like a step back from the previous one.
Grass is nicer though.

I came back to this after a few months away from the broken mess, it's changed a hell of a lot since launch hasn't it? Defending Is no longer impossible and it plays pretty good. I honestly quite like it
