I’m a great believer in the fact that nothing should taste like coffee other than a cup of coffee. Coffee cake can hit the spot sometimes. And definitely tiramisu. |

Interesting - I'm one of those sad gits who feels that coffee-flavoured *anything* is the best version of the product in question.
Examples include cake, fudge, yogurt, mousse, ice cream, beer, chocolate, and liqueurs.

There are two tiers of coffee flavouring:
1) Stuff with coffee in it like tiramsu or coffee cake
2) Stuff with coffee flavour in it like revels, coffee creams and so on
Both are kind of gross but tier two should be purged from the earth

Yeah I'm in the "stick coffee in everything" camp. I bought some coffee red wine a while back which was nice.

I think it runs in the family. Dad loves tomatoes, hates ketchup. The girl *loves* strawberries but wont eat anything strawberry flavoured.

Yeah, that's one of the good coffee beers.
I love Dark Woods, the company that works on it with Magic Rock, and their own Common Grounds barrel-aged coffee is my absolute favourite.

Got my proper gooseneck pourer for my birthday yesterday: a Melitta one, which replaces the Pyrex measuring jug I was fumbling with. This morning’s coffee was genuinely the best I have ever made. Thanks for all the advice, everyone. My next investment will be a bean grinder, but I elected to go for the pourer first  |

Most tomato sauces I can do without issue. Mexican salsa, Italian marinara, arrabiata etc... but ketchup? I don't need sugars in my tomatoes. |

As an aside, I haz run out of nice coffee beans. It is a disaster. All the shops/cafes by me open too late or close too early to get more of the good stuff on the way to or from work. I have to wait until the weekend to get more, or buy some shit old beans from the supermarket.

I'm quite enjoying my order of beans from the odd coffee co (used someone's referral link earlier in the thread)
Ended up getting 1KG which I expected to last me ages (1 cup a day typically), but I'm nearly halfway through them already.
