Well, the entire thread passed me by and this is the first I've heard of it. That looks okay. I've got read any of the spoiler stuff on page 1, so not sure if it is, but that almost makes me want to watch the originals in readiness.
I've never watched the third one, so best do so if this is a follow up.

The trailers have looked good, buuuut the details do align with the plot leak from a while back, and that was pretty terrible sounding.

I think I missed the original showing at my local. Was meaning to go see it, but think it was only on over the weekend. Pity, as I've never seen it on the big screen. Tempted to pick up 4K discs of the originals, as only have them on DVDs, but not sure I really want to pay for 2 and 3 again. Sure they are streaming somewhere, so will probably just watch them like that.
Looking forward to the new one, although I'm mostly hoping for it go full on batshit. Don't know what the leaks are, but I've seen some talk of it being meta, so I'm crossing my fingers for something that really pisses people off.
Edit - just looked and doesn't seem to be streaming anywhere as part of a subscription. Was sure I recently saw that it was, but seems like 4K discs it is then.

I did the 4DX experience on The Matrix last night. Felt like I'd had one hell of a battering when it was done. Great stuff!

It might be nostalgia-baitey. But it feels a bit more justified by the story, which looks like it's literally about deja vu and things repeating. Hopefully they do something interesting with it!

Following the White Rabbit, meeting Trinity, Morpheus and the Oracle, being proposed the red and blue pills. Ehh, I guess I don't care either way since I'm going to watch it on HBOMax day one anyway, but I just didn't see this trailer being any more of a retread than the first. |
