Air con was mental.. could hardly breath. Sounds like an issue with the cinema aircon/heating, as there shouldn't be any difference wearing a mask sitting in a theater seat from wearing a mask in any other situation.

Huge amount of people on Cineworld social media that I've seen now all out refusing to go because of this mandate. If you really don't like it then bring in a load of goodies and feast your way through them whilst watching the film. Good. I've been going to cinema* and keeping a mask on, but definitely would feel better if numpties that won't wear one don't go. Really no excuse, other than a medical condition preventing you. If it is so uncomfortable that you are having breathing difficulties and don't have any conditions that would cause that, then you need a different mask or you are doing something wrong. *Worth noting, I've read that cinemas are actually generally fairly safe. Ventilation in modern cinemas is very good and they are big open spaces. The biggest risk is from those near you, not everyone in the room. If you can go when you aren't sat around other people then it should mostly be okay. Obviously, everyone's acceptable risk level is different and own choice whether you are happy to take the risk. If you do go, respect others and wear a mask.

And, fwiw, I was kind of joking but now I think I might have been right.

Is it normal for cinemas to not let you book so far in advance nowadays? Looked at Jan showings by me and it only goes up to December.

Well there's clearly something wrong with you to pick a fight over something like this. Literally didn't have an intention in my original post.

I don’t recall being able to book that far ahead unless it was a major studio release. First week of January should be up in the next couple of weeks.

As we all know from history, early previews for influencers are definitely the best way to judge a film.

Yes. I can't think of a more impartial source for my reviews...

They are not reviews. The people I read these from are actual critics as opposed to YouTubers. And yeah, negative ones are now coming in.
Still very much looking forward to it. I've maybe gone from PUMPED to

www.digitalspy.com/movies/a38536576/the-matrix-4-first-reactions-resurrections/Interesting mix of responses highlighted here. Sounds like some people are going to hate it (and likely be very vocal) and some will love it. Those are normally my favourite kinds of films, so looking forward to it. Been revisiting the original films. The first film is still incredibly cool throughout. It isn't perfect, but damn it is something really special. Had forgotten just how enjoyable it is. Also, the 4K disc looks fantastic. Reloaded I was shocked at just how bad it was. It really is unbelievable how much of a fall in quality it is from the first. It picks up a bit in the second half when it focuses more on the action, but everything in Zion and most of the actual plot is at best dull and at worst a total mess of nonsense. Not watched Revolutions yet, but I recall that being the weakest of the three.

I was surprised that 3 held up better than 2 in my recent go round, I always thought that was the shitter one

The only thing I can remember about 3 is the really bad cgi at the end with the guy in the mech thingy.

That whole segment with the war in Zion and mech suits was truly awful and went on for hours

I remember that bit where the entire franchise disappeared up its own arsehole.

I remember the war in zion and the mech suits bit being the only *good* bit in the last 2 movies. Which was definitely not what I was expecting.
I have never rewatched them though, so don't hold me to that.
