I'll have to take a look at that. It's what GoG galaxy kind of promised when it launched, but that seems to shit itself whenever you RDP to the machine which pretty much stopped me using it.

Playnite is excellent for Moonlight streaming using multiple launchers - it basically means you can be agnostic to whether stuff is on Steam, Xbox Game Pass, etc...
I do have separate problems to do with Moonlight streaming HDR and ultrawide, but I think those are Sunshine/Moonlight specific and not related to Playnite.
I use it on my desktop as well, just so I don't forget about the games I've got under different stores like Epic.

I have a dedicated gaming Windows PC tucked behind my telly. Ancient 6600K CPU and a 2080 in a Dan A4 case. It's absolutely brilliant and the reason why this is the first console generation I've missed. Both Sony and MS bring most of their first party titles to PC now, so I don't feel I'm missing out on much either.

I’ve gone the other way, previous gen I had every platform, this gen I skipped the xbox, and I can count the games I’ve finished on PS5 on one hand. I’m probably going to get a switch 2 but that’s it for consoles. I've had and sold both the ps5 and series x, bought and didn't use either enough so put the money into my motorbikes. Quite happy with a mid level pc and steam deck but am tempted with a Switch 2

Yeah it's not the 90s/00s where different platforms did things which were unique technically. That convergence over recent generations has now been met by melding of platforms in commercial strategy too.
I'm still sticking my my disk drive ps5 tho. I've probably made my money back on second hand games and trading them back in. When consoles finally go digital distribution only though....I'm not sure if I can be arsed.

Fucking hell, do NOT get caught out on NewEgg with their delivery charges. Just seen some quite nicely discounted monitors, I almost bought a 4k 34 inch one, but then noticed it and several others had delivery charges of up to £150 after shipping from the US.

Wow, I've spent less than the delivery charge (each mind) on monitors. That's shocking.

My ram has had a nice little journey from Barcelona through the Rhine region, Grace Hollogne and then up through the UK to be finally arriving today. I genuinely think I might cry if it's one of those Amazon parcels where some enterprising cunt has dipped their fingers in and nicked it.

Its been a rough couple of years, so I thought I'd give myself an early Christmas present and ordered a new PC to put together. Very excited, but also now getting into the mode where I'm hoping I don't mess up the build. Can't wait for it all to arrive though!
