Ok, so The Penguin series was incredible. Well written, great acting, engaging, tonally consistent.

I didn't think it was incredible, or particularly consistent in terms of tone. But it was still very much worth a watch!

I thought it was really good, could have done with a bit less of the mommy issues but it was a minor issue. I’m impressed they actually gave a good route from where he started to where he ended up that was coherent.
If you’re going to do spin off TV that complements the films then it feels like this is about as good as it can be, even if the tone doesn’t match.
