Yeah, I think the DCU is clearly another universe in the overall DC multiverse where some people just look the same as people from the DCEU.
Kinda like how Lashana Lynch has basically played three versions of the same person in the MCU.

Meh. I don't know why I'm not excited for those films, the first one was very good and on paper they're doing everything right I guess.
Actually, I do know why I'm not excited. It all feels very safe and samey. I'm WAY more hyped for The Brave and the Bold.

That was the only DC film I was excited for, but I’m also pretty superheroed out, so maybe it’s for the best. You can’t miss something until it’s gone. Hope Battison uses the extra time to bulk up a bit and look more Batmany.

I think it works because it is a self contained story. It had no duty to waste time setting up an unrelated story for another film.
