The only movie I plan to see in a cinema in the near future is Dune part 2 and that's because of the vast vistas; apart from that, I'd prefer waiting for a stream release and even then I tend to watch movies in 2-3 sittings - my cinema days seem behind me...

Furiosa and Dune for me.
There are a couple of others that may be worth a trip, like Joker and the New planet of the apes but both could also be terrible.
I had no idea there’s a new Lord of the rings film out next year either.

Once the pandemic was properly over, one of the first things I wanted to do was go to the cinema. Personally, I'd always pick the cinema over watching at home.
But given the price, I couldn't go for anything other than big event movies for the past 10 years or so, and that was mainly Marvel or Star Wars or Bond during that period.
Recently ones like Dune, Spiderverse, etc.. have been well worth seeing on the big screen. Plus I went to 4k screenings of classics like Jaws and LotR.
I'd go for Godzilla too, if it wasn't for the language issue.
DCU Movies though, have a really hard time motivating me to go.

Yeah, streaming is ok but I really love the experience of going to the cinema even with how annoying audiences can be at times. Sure there's the comfort aspect of being at home but I always feel more immersed in a movie when I watch it at the cinema. Regarding DC films the last one I saw at the cinema was Black Adam and well that was a big oof. Coincidentally it was the last English language DC film shown here funnily enough, Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman realeased this week were/are purely in Spanish. I guess there really isn't a big appetite for DC stuff.

The likes of Aquaman isn’t that film.

Issue a statement, release the film to cinemas (likely in the contracts), donate a portion of the proceeds to LGBTQ, grooming and indigenous charities. Everything moves on, hopefully including legal action against Ezra. I think we've been through this before but seriously what legal action could be done by the studio? Look, I don't check in here too often. I'm all over Reddit these days. I am banned on so many subs. I'll say this for the old Eurogamer forum, it was fucking tolerant. Anyway, get this. I was pretty disgusted with Ezra's antics but goddammit, I loved the Flash movie. |

That would be cool, however DC and WB have always been weird about Batman Beyond in general as it kinda puts a definitive end to certain batman characters and they don't seem to like that.

I will always be flabbergasted that Marvel not only got to popularise the concept of the multiverse in mainstream movies before DC - who had the multiverse as an active, prominent part of their mythology since, what, the 1950s? - but also managed to do a "multiple actors who played the role" gag before Batman.
I honestly remember thinking years ago, long before Spider-Verse, "they should get Grant Morrison to write an animated Multiversity movie and you could have Clooney, Keaton, Kilmer, and Bale all do voice cameos as different Batmen".
