It wasn’t until Joss Whedon fucked off the MCU stopped treating the female cast as tits on legs.
Which is weird considering he used to be the poster child for female empowerment. What an odd downfall he’s had.

They should just do Elseworld stories and do something interesting. Or make a Batwoman movie that's actually like the JH Williams III comics, rather than whatever bullshit that TV show was.

I'd argue Reeves' Batman and Phillips' Joker were Elseworlds. I want a shared universe now. Or at least a universe where Batman has to deal with supernatural and sci-fi stuff.

Yeah and they've worked best. Maybe take some visual cues off of Spider verse and do batman like it's visually Arkham Asylum. The graphic novel.

Looks like the big bad in Superman is going to be The Engineer. Well, that’s the first baddie casting news. Might be more.
Also Gunn has hired a writer for Supergirl who has no film or TV writing credits. None. Although she may have done a lot of good stuff that’s just never been made. Gunn days the script is above and beyond good.

Eisenberg's Luthor seemed very clearly to be based more on a younger tech-bro type than the old industrialist of Hackman. I doubt it's directly meant to be Zuckerberg; that's probably due to the fact it's Eisenberg in the role. But he doesn't play the two characters similarly. I imagine it was just an attempt to tweak Luthor and make him a more "modern" kind of character. It's actually one of the very few things I like about BvS.

I dunno what it'll do to the DCU, but DC folding all of their indie imprints into the mainline universe REALLY fucked me off at the time. Hellblazer, Sandman, Watchmen and Wild Storm have no place in the DC universe. They'll be adding Spider Jerusalem next.
