Some of the ludicrous gushing I read were just comical after the preview screenings. Looks as though Batman saves the film from being a disaster.

I also question how much the reviews are just shitcanning Millar. The screen rant review goes on and on about their apparent crimes (which Iām not really up to speed on or care about) before even getting to the movie, and sounds like every frame traumatised them by reminding them of something they read in a gossip rag.

I don't mind reviewers bringing in real world things, but it can make it a bit unclear what their opinion on the actual quality of the film is.

Considering the only thing that's potentially stopping me seeing the film is Ezra Miller and their off-screen "shenanigans", I think that's a fair point to comment on in the reviews.
