Fairly sure it's Boston. Think I read it that Gotham is Boston, Metropolis is New York or Chicago. But neither was meant to really be a city in the way Marvel set everything in New York. It was just a bit more generic.
Boston fits for me anyway.

Gotham was New York originally. They very quickly changed it to a fictional name, presumably to free them from the constraints of having a real-life city as a setting. It was still heavily based on NYC however

All the OG comic writers were Jewish immigrants. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster (Superman), Bob Kane and Bill Finger (Batman), Will Eisner (The Spirit), Stan Lee and Jack Kirby (basically all of Marvel). All Jewish immigrants to a man.
Now, which part of America was famous for Jewish immigrants for the first half of the 20th Century, and continues to be associated with them?

Looks like The Flash is tracking for a “soft” opening weekend of $70 million. This seems to be getting a massive promotional push. But if that’s what this film is doing I expect Blue Beetle to be as low as Shazam 2. I almost forgot this was coming out.
