Not much to be surprised about - that’s a poster with a guy standing in the batcave, with the batwing coming in, and no actual name of the film. Other than the red suit I’d assume this was a Batman film tbqh.
Look forward to the trailer though. Given what a shitshow Ezra Miller turned out to be, I can’t help but think the film itself is too good for them to can.

They probably sunk so much money into it that they didn't want to cancel it. But they could fix it for future entries.
Ezra died on the way back to their home planet. Ezra ran so fast that they turned into a different actor. Alternate dimension bullshit, I dunno.

Yeah I agree with that, and once they see Keaton's Batman that will be quite a big draw just on general "what's going on" interest level.
But WB really, really need to get out in front of all the allegations against Miller if they want them to continue in the role. Some of them are really serious and whilst I'm sympathetic to their mental health issues I'm not sure that would or should excuse everything. And going forward I think these things could get explored in depth, expanded upon, there might be criminal trials, and suddenly it explodes into a wider PR problem that WB need to deal with.
I want to see this film because of Keaton but at the moment I'm not sure I can.

Oh Miller is gone as fuck. The movie itself will probably be really good though. I honestly have a really strong feeling that the movie is great and they’re in this super awkward position of finally having a really good DC film and the star is this total douchebag. It could only be better if there’s a really obvious and bad CGI edit where they changed the end for Ezra to return to their home planet and now This Guy is The Flash last minute twist.

It's a pity there isn't a really famous and industry-defining story where Barry Allen dies heroically and is replaced by his nephew Wally West as the new Flash, who becomes really popular and defines the character for at least an entire generation of comic readers, so much so that when they eventually make a Justice League cartoon they use Wally instead of Barry.
That would have been a totally elegant way to replace the actor. Shame.

Possibly but Gunn did use him in Peacemaker and the issues had already started by then. Not sure what he had done at that point though. |

Given the source material I suspected this might be the strongest DC film. While I'm with most people in feeling a little conflicted over Miller it looks great.
I haven't seen a Marvel or DC flick in the cinema for a couple of years but both this and Antman are films that I think will benefit from a big screen outing.
