Authority as part of the main DCU is slightly odd although they have crossed over, but all of the Authority are quite clearly supposed to represent various DC characters so yeah, but strange. Could be brilliant though, the old Authority comics are great and will make really good films. They’re very cinematic.
Supergirl film sounds cool and yay, Swamp Thing.

I'm with everyone else who's broadly excited by all that.
Incidentally, the Authority characters have been part of the mainline DCU since the New 52 (unless they've been shoved into their own universe again by another reboot). Midnighter had quite a funny thing going with Nightwing for a while, where they'd butt heads and argue about heroism but also Midnighter clearly fancied him.

I don't know most of the comics, so I'm just going on first impressions, but it all sounds a bit Snyderverse to me.
As in, going for the more gritty side. (The Authority, Gritty Supergirl, GoT WW Island, Gritty Robin, etc...)
I guess it'll differentiate them from Marvel, but it doesn't seem to be playing to Gunn's strengths.
A lot is going to rest on pulling off that first Superman movie in an interesting way, something that hasn't seemed that easy in the past.
If it ends up as Superman & Co vs The Authority that sounds very Kingdom Come to me.
WW Prequel series sounds weird, but maybe it's based on good comics?
The fact that they're making 2 separate Batman franchises, and apparently 2 separate Superman movies in parallel seems very odd.

I know they've already got a Blue Beetle movie in the works but I hope the Booster show brings in Ted Kord so we can replicate their humorous JLI double act.
