He's part of the Arm & Hammer dynasty. His family's loaded. He basically *is* the Winklevoss twins. I did read he'd been essentially disowned, no idea if that's true. Once upon a time I think he would have made a really good Superman, actually; he was my choice for the role when Man of Steel was in development. Not now, obviously.
Anyway, he's too old. So is Pratt so you can all breathe a sigh of relief.
Cage can be Luthor.

There was a separate Michael B Jordan "black Superman" film in development that might have been cancelled now. But I think they'll probably have colour blind casting. I mean, he's an alien, it's 2022, doesn't matter what the actor's race is.

Armie Hammer for Superman. Just now I was looking up George Miller's cancelled Justice League movie, and some of the casting was pretty wild. Armie Hammer as Batman. Adam Brody as The Flash. The guy who played Seth Gecko in the From Dusk Till Dawn TV show as Superman. Hugh Keays-Byrne (Immortan Joe) as Martian Manhunter. It fell apart because of the writers strike and other things, but... imagine what a beauty that would have been. |

Not that any of it matters, of course, as the film never happened!
Thinking about it for a sec I guess a bad script makes sense if the film got cancelled due to a writers' strike...
