Shame there won't be a sequel to Black Adam. I heard it was quite good.
Didn't one of the posters here absolutely love it and list it as their film of the year? Spooky possibly...

Was okay. Very 90s film but Dwayne wants everyone to know it wasn't a bomb.

I can see them releasing the films that are essentially complete (Aquaman, Flash, Blue Beetle) but scrapping the ones in development and rebooting the universe.
I do hope they don't recast Cavill and Gadot though. They're great in those roles and deserve a chance to shine again.

With Hollywood accounting, you can never really know but, ultimately, no, they arent building a 'franchise' around a shazam villain that nobody gives a fuck about.

Yep he should have always been a villian in other films rather than a stand alone but Dwayne didn't want to share the screen as word has it he doesn't like Shazam.

This could be the start of The Rock revealing himself as the cunt I think he secretly is.

Anyways I'm pretty happy about Lobo coming to the big screen.
Wonder Woman 1 was good 2 dull so not really disappointed that 3 is dead unless they are going to reboot everything but keep certain cast members and the film is simply re written to fit the new approach?
Still thinking Flash Point will be used to reset about 90% of stuff. If Miller isn't replaced by the end of that then he clearly has massive dirt on a lot of people.

Yep. Leave The Batman as it is. Everyone else can be re-cast. That includes Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

Killing WW3 seems like a very dumb idea to me. No idea how the 2nd one did financially though. Gadot is perfect in the role, and recasting so soon would likely be a big mess.

The said it didn't fit the new direction which is why I can see a possible rewrite rather than recast.

That would make more sense, and is the kind of thing that happens to movies all the time. We just usually don't hear about it.

Still thinking Flash Point will be used to reset about 90% of stuff. The problem is, youre thinking of this as something people still care about. It doesnt need to reset anything because the DCEU is dead, nobody gives a shit about it and at least one of the franchises has already moved on from it.

Yeah, I'm a pretty dyed in the wool comic book nerd and fuck me if I couldn't give a shit about DC's film output and if I don't care then I heavily doubt the average cinema goer gives a shit too.

I missed this thread, was just saying that the WW3 thing could be more about getting rid of the director, who did a great job on the first one but made a worse movie once the studio granted her more autonomy. I can’t remember her name exactly, Tim Burton maybe. I enjoyed Wonder Woman 2 but registered the criticisms and think they’re mostly fair. Cheetah was poorly served, the movie failed the bechamel test etc.
What a disaster though, if Cavill leaves The Witcher but then they cancel his Superman anyway.
If no one has posted it, Gunn has publicly stated that a lot of the report simply isn’t true and not even decided in most parts, they’re still working on their proposal. What is almost certainly true though is that everything is at some kind of risk, but everything at DC WB was already at risk all the time anyway, it’s been a shitshow for decades.

I liked WW84. I'd rather have another of her movies than a lot of the generic stuff. It might have flaws, but it's interesting.

I don't give a fuck what they do as long as Cavil is Superman and Gadot is Wonder woman.
