First episode of the new season of The Witcher done and it feels like an effortless continuation from the first, which for me personally is a very good thing.
Genius cameo/part mixed in to boot. Lovely stuff.

I think they released one episode yesterday for some reason, but should be the whole shebang now.

Yeah also loving it. I hope the bard comes back. Need me some "toss a coin for your Witcher". Was blaring it out as I was preparing first Christmas dinner

Is the Witcher cartoon movie worth it?
Two episodes into season 2 and everything is bigger and better so far

I liked the animated film. Haven't gotten around to season two yet though so can't compare to that directly.

Is the Witcher cartoon movie worth it? Two episodes into season 2 and everything is bigger and better so far I enjoyed it, features some of the events from the current 2nd episode, so informative, and entertaining! Thinking it was episodic I looked at my watch after an hour "fuck these episodes are long"

@simpe
The cartoon is quite good, and gives you some background story on some events prior to the second season and what happened to the witchers

Mrs Chilli and I have just watched two episodes of Witcher season 1. Seems to be settling a bit now. That first episode I didn't have a clue what was going on.
Think we'll watch ep.3 as the wife seems into it. (Cavill helps I reckon)

Polar 7/10 Brutal action flick with Mads Mikkelsen and of course elevated by that alone. Presentation is a bit naff, it is like Gearbox have Borderlands the whole film. Still, despite that an enjoyable romp.
Last Christmas 7/10 Romcom with Emilia Clarke and her incredibly active eyebrows. Notwithstanding that very enjoyable, lots of chuckles from a terrific cast, especially Emma Thompson. Ends up in a surprising place I did not expect, but then, I might just be a bit dim.

It wasn't in your face, but my clues were the dancing around random people on street, and them not knowing him at the homeless place (no such thing as superfluous information!).

Hellbound 7/10 Captivating Korean drama where people are visited by an apparition telling them they will die in the next few days whereby 3 heavies appear out of nowhere on said day and beat them to a pulp.
Has its weird moments but it is well shot and there is tons of intrigue with many interesting characters, good stuff, sets itself up nicely for a 2nd series

The 1953 documentary The Conquest of Everest is a good late night watch. It's still not an easy thing to do these days but they definitely had it harder.

2x episodes into Archive 81 and it's rly, rly good so far. Tense, creeping dread and a great score from Geoff Barrow (portishead).
Waiting for the traditional Netflix mid-season slump but so far would recommend if you like tense, psychological horror kind of vibes.

Just came in here to give a heads up on it. Only a couple of episodes in myself but it’s very much my jam so far.

After watching Stay Close last week me and the OH have been watching the other Harlen Coben limited series.
They have a wierd mix of overlapping character storylines, drip feeding nuggets of mystery detail and selective crap acting that seems to have it's hooks in me.
We watched The Stranger and now we're just going through Safe. The highlight of Safe being Michael C Hall attempting and English accent.

The coben stuff has so much potential, but they don't half drag stuff out, have people do stupid things.
I was screaming at my TV whodunnit on stay safe for the last couple episodes.

Jesus you might be me and the wife. For me it’s just absolutely compared to stay close and the stranger. 3 ish episodes in and I literally can’t care for a single character. Maybe Sia. Not sure I’m supposed to be rooting though.
