If you're enjoying Scavengers Reign it's worth checking out a series of graphic novels by a Brazilian/french author and Artist called Leo. Aldebaran, Antares, Betelegeuse. I got them from Amazon. Very similar kind of worlds but even stronger narratives. It’s in the same ballpark as the 2012 Prophet reboot, too, which was very good.

The Case Of The Golden Idol has been added to the included mobile games, well worth a go if you haven't played it.

Eric. Benedict Cumberbatch is a dark mirror of Jim Henson plus a too-clean-out-of-place black cop in a nasty 80s New York. Am I going mad, or do I see eyes everywhere in this? Aside from all the metaphorical ones (on a sweater coat, windows, door frame) look at the jacket on the street at the end of the first episode and there’s one right in the centre, looking right back at me.
Also the puppet sucks, which is a real shame because the other stuff is pretty good.

Appleseed Alpha 6/10 Japanese animation. It was ok, the writing is a bit leaden, or maybe it's the translation, it looks really lovely though. Cannot speak to how it fits into the Appleseed universe as I am not familiar with it at all.

It was alright, animation was good. Very talky and some of it is laboured but enjoyable enough. I'd probably give the same score

The Highwaymen 8/10 Excellent period piece. Costner and Harrelson go after Bonnie and Clyde. Well written and the two leads are as good as you might imagine together. Loved it.

Just finished Scavenger's Reign and thought it was superb. The imagination on display in the alien flora and fauna design is wild, and the characters are strong. It felt very original. Wife enjoyed it too despite not really being into sci-fi. Would love a season 2.

The Terminator anime looks like it’ll be pacey
Not pacey but very good is the recent Demetri Martin stand up special. Its just him doing his thing with a meta-textual commentary over the top but its very funny and clever which are two things the usual type of American stand up Netflix invests in never is.

Watched the director's cut of Rebel Moon Part 1 last night. Some hokey performances and god awful dialogue, mixed in with some lovely set pieces.
Way too long obviously, but it is far more cohesive.
I was in the mood for some hammy Sci-Fi so a very generous 6/10

Netflix have cancelled Snyders Army of the Dead series. Last was meh due to some really strange choices imo.
Never realised One Punch Man S 2 had been added.

I can't work tell it I'm enjoying this KAOS thing. It's batshit but the format is interesting and something is making me want to watch the next episode. Also, the music choices are really cool sometimes. I was chucking to myself at the Reet Petite when the drape dropped.

Arcane was great. Might be tempted to watch S1 again before watching S2, which is something I don't normally do.
