I always thought the House of Usher was some kind of boring Downton Abbey type period drama. Took me years to realise I had got it completely mixed up with the House of Elliot.

Watching Good Morning, Veronica. It a Brazilian drama. It's quite a tough watch as it's dealing with rape and abusive husband's, but it's been very good 4 episodes in. The foreign language stuff Netflix do has been excellent.

The first challenge was easily the most convoluted, complicated, rule heavy challenge I’ve ever seen. It was like The Traitors with Gloomhaven rules. And the subtitles don’t always work. I’ll persevere though. No doubt the winner will be the baby faced, self confessed thicko, who’s actually incredibly bright + devious

Saw the final Top Boy. My god what a total mess that was from start to finish. Absolutely terrible compared to every single other season, which have all been fantastic. It’s a cheap, lazy, rushed nonsensical mess.

Just got rid of the app from my TV completely. No point anymore. It's just Breaking Bad and Star Trek. Sure I can pick them up elsewhere.

Upping prices to £18 a month for the top tier. It's a no from me. I have just seen this. There will be a chat with the family about that- I don't think we watch enough to justify that on top of everything else, so it'll be a disney or netflix rotation for a bit I guess. They are very much taking the piss with that. /BT sport for the football is still sacrosanct though.  |

Yup, we watch very little new - the odd series but it's rubbish for films. Not worth £18 for the kids to watch Teen Titans etc on rotation.

Funnily enough, I'm watching Netflix more due to the foreign language shows they make. Good morning, Veronica is excellent. Watched Ragnarok which was very good and there are few series I'm going to look at.

Still get my moneys worth from NF, it's a salve for my conscience though, given the amount of stuff I "acquire"
NFL Gamepass and NF are the only ones I subscribe to.
I too watch a bunch of foreign stuff, Korean mainly, and my list of stuff waiting to watch is extensive

Its going to be cheaper to just buy things and chuck them a month once a year to binge any exclusive content.
Its not exactly sticking it to the man, but its cheaper to just buy star trek when its occasionally on sale than sub to paramount+.

The most galling thing is the ever shifting goalposts in the wrong direction. If they increased prices but made the service better it'd at least be something. - crackdown on VPN / DNS lookups (effectively more than halving the library, especially movies) - crackdown on password sharing with family who live separately (removing value) - autoplay (annoying feature no one asked for?) - seasons released weekly or arbitrarily split in two (no more binging) - ad content on the basic tier, which is essentially now close to the price of the top tier not so long ago. - drop in streaming bitrates and image quality - above inflation price rises. This wasn't the deal. I'd bin it off, but like dogbot, the other half is very resistant. She likes to browse it and is in the habit of sticking Friends on in the background when cooking. As a bit of an AV nerd I'm also my own worst enemy because if I'm going to watch something, I want the best quality picture and sound. We do still watch a fair bit of decent Netflix content (I find it weird when people claim there 'isn't anything good' on there) and ultimately I will pay £18 a month for domestic peace, but I'm not happy about it! |

I think this is where they may have dropped a bollock with the account sharing thing. Having several households on one account makes it very sticky.
We ponce my dads netflix in return for D+ and I know they would have cancelled it by now if they didnt think my step-sister and I were using it.
(and vice versa, tbh. I would have canned D+ if my step-mum didnt hammer it so much)
