I like watches, but wouldn't have much expertise (or money) but like this new release. There's no Swatch shop even close to me but will hopefully get one online at some stage.

Yeah... kind of the discussion for the last 2 pages. Hah, sorry was a bit drunk and didn't see anything that actually mentioned it. My issue with these things is they're fucking huge. I was hoping they'd scale it down to something more wearable, but it's almost 5cm of dinnerplate. |

If you're going to make a totally patronisingly pink girly one, do it in the unisex 36mm size they do for proper Speed/Seamasters, or even an actual ladies' size.

When has a watch ever been measured like that? Commonly. It's the one measurement that dictates whether or not it'll be a comfortable wear - and it's on the website. Are you new to watches? |

Not really, the angle of the lug is more important than the point to point measurement. A dead flat case with straight lugs will feel very different to a curved case with angled lugs even in the measurement is the same

You’re both right tbh. Lug to lug is a relevant measurement, case and lug shape are important. And thickness of course.
I favour the Invicta Bolt Zeus Magnum. Only 52mm case width, and 20mm thick. And it only weighs 369 grams so you’d barely notice you were even wearing it.

I couldn’t imagine wearing anything that big, I don’t have particularly large wrists so 40mm already feels beyond my limits. That said I just measured my daily Apple Watch with its metal link strap and the lugs (such as they are) come in at 45mm while not being a big watch at all, maybe I need to reconsider
