I've not got anything as fancy as some of those mentioned above but I am pretty happy with my budget collection.
Orient Defender 2 - My daily driver most days recently but sometimes wear my smartwatch Tissot Heritage Visodate - Dress watch Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro - Going out out watch
The Tissot I've had the longest and appears to be the most accurate, surprisingly followed by the Orient at about +- a second a day. The CW C60 gained about 10secs in about 24-30hrs, it also stopped way under the adverstised 38hrs. Tempted to send it back to be looked at

All of those look ace. The Tissot looks quite like a watch I've been eyeing for some time, a Longines Master Collection.

Thanks budd. Yeah the Tissot is a lovely looking watch, so too that Longines MC. I was tempted by the Longines HydroConquest before buying the C60, but with the C60 coming in a 40mm and the fact I have puny wrists swung it. Just need to save up for a nice mid-range chrono and then that's me out of watch collecting

I bought a Drive de Cartier. Preowned but unworn (pretty much) from Chrono24. It's very very nice.

Cartier, Sidney Poitier, hooray shit.
Very nice. I think my kitchen clock completely ripped off that design.

I've got a Bulova (no idea what model?). Only (fairly - £350 or so) cheap, but it's pretty accurate mostly.
Except the day display, which is completely off and I can't be arsed winding back and forward every time there's a different number of days in the month.

I’ve got a real soft spot for Cartier watches Yeah me too, they make some lovely things. I like the brand in general really, so much history there . I tried on a Tank at the Cartier boutique on Bond St (so fancy) but it didn’t suit me. The Drive is bang on though.

Tank is my all time favourite, my first proper watch. I’d love one of the proper mechanical ones but my quartz Tank Solo has sentimental value and can’t justify two Tanks

Not a big Cartier fan, and I struggle with not-round-not-square cases, but they are serious watches. Those blued steel hands are gorgeous and there is a lovely symmetry to it. I see Tudor have done a new version of the Pelagos, less chunky than the original and it's bloody gorgeous. I have a blue Tudor Snowflake which I think edges it, but for a modern version it's a winner.

Not sure about that one. It's very practical but I don't find it attractive. I might maybe get one of these next year if I get my bonus:

I've been on the waiting list for the Omega Snoopy 50th anniversary for a while, but my AD is now quoting a 3-5 year wait! They're going for £30K on the grey market (£7K at retail) so looks like I'm not getting one.
First world problems and all that, but bloody annoying all the same.

It used to be you couldn't move for Omega discounting (I got my Seamaster on pretty big sale) but those days seem to have ended as Omega decided the brand was being devalued and prices have gone upppp.

The Coniston I have (Bluebird, not sold any more) is the first really nice watch I've owned. It was 'only' £300 but the pictures on the website really didn't capture the quality of the design and the attention to detail. If they weren't a small, relatively new company these watches would be a lot more expensive than they are.

I mean to be honest watches are a large part fashion; who gives a fuck if they're automatic, quartz, swiss-made or whatever, as long as you like it and it's reasonably well-made.

True enough. Most people don't even wear them any more.
