It also made a mockery of gaming in a way as to get any substantial points you had to most likely play a game you would not normally have bothered with in a specific fashion. It hardly respects your time dies it? I only ever thought it made sense for full time gamers or those easily lead?

I just open a YouTube video for any week's quest and if it's more than a couple of minutes long I'd just nope out of it.
Some games like Limbo and Celeste had tasks that just involved dying X times, and you could just hold the stick to the right for a few minutes. Others you need to play for half an hour to get to a point where starting the task is possible. Fuck that.
Also doesn't help that it's pointless even trying to start a quick cloud streaming session these days. You're almost always better off just downloading the game instead, and I'm fucked if I'm putting Disneyland magic adventures or whatever that garbage was on my console.

Yeah good riddance, the console rewards app has always been an infuriatingly slow clunky and buggy piece of shit.
One of the reasons they got rid of a lot of what used to be on it, aside from wanting to be less generous with what you can earn, was the tracking of punch cards and achievements often didn't work anyway.

I really doubt they will transfer the weekly streak thing over (also the MS rewards app never give notifications, thats the gamepass one)
They are not killing off the gamepass quests btw eg get 10 coins in some game. They had montly quests that were like the disney game ones and you didn't need those rewards for the main one and now after the change, you need to do the pittance daily and the chore weekly ones
With the changes and the MS rewards app getting more buggy, it feels like all those things are done on purpose like how they found bad games for GwG, so people thanked MS for kilkling off the free games

Although I can't help but feel that the ride on the space whale was skipping out chapters they couldn't finish during development Yes my only criticism with it was the ending felt sudden and the last chapter seemed thin compared with the rest of the game, I was wanting more story & exploration, more reveal, just a bit more to that last level in general. |

Another thing that happened playing Jusant on the Series S was after a couple hours of continuous play the framerate tanked and it crashed a couple minutes later.
It's Something I've noticed in most games I've played on the Series S that are cross gen/ current gen. You're never that far away from a crash if you have a longish gaming session.
I assume it's to do with the Ram filling up to the point the game can't cope.

Huh. That might possibly be your Series S(?). I hope not, but I had at least a 3 hour stint on my S to start and followed that up with another 2 and a bit. I had no issues. I did my final stint on the X, but that was little more than the final two chapters.
I did have to replay most of the penultimate chapter on Series X after it froze and shut down, but that was on the X, not the S.

I definitely saw some frame rate issues on my Series S when in the cavern areas . Think the extra light sources may have impacted. Seemed better on the later levels. Just built a new PC so will be playing through again to check out the ultrawide. Though with this game's simpler texturing and emphasis on lighting I'm not expecting a huge step up in appearance. |

It ran fine on the series X. I had one lock up on the windy level, which was possibly due to a 'resume' issue having left it parked for a few days. It was a lovely game though. I thought it had an ok run time tbh. I was getting a little fed up and it seemed to be running out of gimmicks, so I quite enjoyed my space whale taxi and the final climb. With my poor injured ballast 😢. |

Seems to be another change to the rewards. Looks like they’ve added a 5 second cool down between searches so you can longer just bash 30 searches in quick succession.

Just got RE4 remake in the sale using MS rewards points, will miss rewards when MS finish molesting the scheme to death.
Imortals of avieum or what ever its called is £8 right now but they would have to give me £8 to complete that and I have ton of other games to play
