I'm 99% sure I had 4K HDR via the PS5 previously. Definitely had it on the TV's app. Bit annoying.

Last week when I watched Shang Chi, it was working fine. 4K, HDR, Dolby Atmos. Now it's saying HD 5.1, though I'm given the option of IMAX Enhanced... which would be great if I had a projector or television that supported it. Playback through the Xbox app on Series X is unaffected, but I'd rather play through my TV directly since the apps are better calibrated for my particular set. A quick glance on the Disney+ reddit shows it's a current known issue. My TV's a Sony XE90 for the record. |

No idea who the girl is, but it looks like it's got a Die Hard / Christmas vibe (if you squint a bit) and I'm hoping it will be fun - as long as the trailers done have all the funny bits in them.

I know people hate hearing about the Matt Fraction Hawkeye series, but that was a phenomenal (comic book) run. The Kate Bishop/Hawkeye series is meant to take a lot of cues from that.

Just tried the Disney app on the PS5 - same issue, sure before it was 4K DA etc. Now IMAX Enhanced but only HD. Thankfully the LG app is unaffected. |

The app on my TV is fixed now, funny enough.
Watched the two episodes of Kate Bishop that are up. I love it. We still have four episodes to see where it goes, but they captured the clumsy, low level mood of the Matt Fraction book. I see in the credits that he was a consulting producer, so it makes sense. It has Pizzadog and the Track Suit Mafia!
Also, the song closing out episode 2 was kind of hard.

She's not a main character, but I imagine she'll pop in regularly. A big plotline is Hawkeye trying to get home in time for Christmas, so she and the kids showed up in the first two episodes.

If you didn’t want to wait for the weeklies the last episode of Reservation Dogs went up yesterday. Only eight 30 min episodes so you can blast through it pretty fast now
If the Tarantino pun puts you off don’t worry the vibe is, if anything more like maybe Coen Bros or perhaps Bottlerocket but not really either.

Just watched part one and had to stop myself from immediately going into part two. I’ve always been a bit team McCartney, but when he just walks over to the piano “for a bit of practice” and plays the the long and winding road for the first time to his bandmates is pretty special. |
