Turner and Hooch wasn't all that bad for what it is. A bit cringy but it is aimed at kids after all. The soundtrack though seemed to come straight from car and deodorant commercials.

Just watched the first episode of star wars visions, it was very good.
Like MCU what if ... but with more anime and bit more freedom to let loose.

I haven’t even bothered to finish Black Widow. The whole film so far feels like it could have been a throwaway line somewhere else to say “here’s the new Black Widow, you’ll see her in future films”

I know its slightly heretical in some circles but I didnt think the comic was that great. It really, really dragged.

I got through the first episode and had no desire to watch any more.
It's like making a new Top Gun without the jets. (Click click)

The whole film so far feels like it could have been a throwaway line somewhere else to say “here’s the new Black Widow, you’ll see her in future films” Yeah we got interrupted by kids waking up, and then decided to call it a night. If it were up to me I wouldn't have bothered to watch the rest, which is very very uncharacteristic. I almost have to watch stuff to the end, even really bad films.

Sadly the final act is the weakest part

I would say that Ron Perlman as Red Guardian was quite a delight though.

Vaughan is talented and creative but pretty severely overrated and seems to be somewhat unfamiliar with actual human beings, especially people who actually have to deal with severe adversity (which, ostensibly, both this and Saga are about). Like others I wasn't able to actually finish Black Widow. Extremely glad I didn't see it at the cinema. It wasn't terrible, just dull and with nothing to say. I think I like the new Black Widow better than the old one though.

Did anyone recommend The Owl House yet? Cos it's ace. It's doing one of those annoying mid-season breaks at the moment though. I guess it should be back soon and I might need to resub. She'd be all over Blake Lively given half a chance though. Give The Shallows a spin next times she comes over then... assuming she hasn't already seen it.

I started watching Reservation Dogs last night.
It's a crime series following a small gang of Native American teens doing crime tings while they try and escape their little shit hole town.
It's the best thing I've watched on TV for a while. Different, funny, authentic, with feels.
Highly recommend.

Not read any of his other ones mind.

I’m quite enjoying SW Visions, which I can’t really say for the Bad Batch. Will stick with it until the end I’m sure, but it’s just too friends for me.

Fantastic show.

“The Only Murders In The Building” is a charming and funny whodunnit with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Nothing world shattering, but there are worse ways to spend 5 hours if your life.

I'm confused. Are we now promoting 'not in widescreen' as a feature, after the past decade promoting 'in widescreen' as a feature?

It's 1.90:1 which is still wider than the 16:9 of a TV.
