Surprised the Italian team weren’t contesting.

I liked the interview with Tony Hawk they had too where he was saying Macdonald was representing the roots of the sport and all is old timers not just TeamGB. I
Its not even a patronising feel good story like when someone from a micro nation finishes a minute of the pace because there are no pools in his country either. Macdonald looked good.

Sharp contrast in performance with the South African, took him a full 10 seconds to hit his first trick. Kudos to him nonetheless, I felt my knees creaking just watching him

That was the Mexican diver I alluded to earlier. The cameras would not get off her when she was crying and distraught, lingering on her for absolutely ages and panning to her after the dives of the next couple of contestants too. I found it in really poor taste.
