I still cannot fathom why half pipe isn't in the Olympics, it's surely so much more exciting for the average punter, especially compared to street. Can see where you are coming from, there’s a lot of grace in a good street run though isn’t there and a lot of variety. Again, come on Sky! Sure, nothing wrong with street. But the difference between a lot of the tricks - especially when it comes to switch being more difficult - will be entirely lost on most people. Whereas going 6ft high off vert whilst spinning or flipping the board is definitely impressive to everyone! |

Kerr had to chase Ingebrigtsen down to be fair to him, had no choice, Ingebrigtsen went out hard and fucked it for himself, and fucked it a little bit for Kerr. But fair play to the yank for making the most of it.

incidentally, not sure if they still do it, but blenheim horsey trials used to open the course to humans at the end, i've only done it once, don't bank on ever wearing those trainers again

I enjoyed the pole vaulters going mental together over the world record breaking last night. Then the commentators were like “it only half counts because he deliberately only breaks it by the smallest margin so he can break it again next time and look like billy big balls with nine world records to his name because thats what his sponsors want”.
