Britain's men utterly fucked the hockey, playing against India who had a man down for most of the match but can't take advantage and then screw up the shoot out. They didn't even manage anything when India had another player binned.

Didn't make the top 12 (16th), nearly a PB with her final throw but still 1m short. Good going for a 20 year old in a strength sport though, and a nice story. |

I like tennis as an Olympic sport because not many players. But agree golf and football don't suit it. Plus their respective sports are ludicrously rich obviously.

Absolute horseshit. There's one thing moaning about VAR in football, but NOT having it in a sport where it's literally clear and obvious is _insane_. And one where the major final is every four years.
Think I'd have turned my shotgun onto the umpires if that was me...

Superb, tense final. Don’t understand the review system. Either review it properly or don’t bother.
The Brit was really unlucky with a bloody bird flying across right before she was about to shoot. She put her hand up to pause but then missed one of the two next shots.
Anyway, fantastic competition and great silver.
