Apparently Romulus is a research station where the xenomorph ejected from the Nostromo was taken after being picked up still alive by Weyland-Yutani. Which seems like a bit of a "somehow Palpatine returned" stretch. |

After Prey being amazing, this is giving me similar first trailer vibes and I'm optimistic it will be good.
Both will have been after absolute shitefests of their series too.

Yeah, hope this takes the Prey route and just strips things back to basics, chucks out all the awful "lore" and just concentrates on being a decent stand alone movie. Just a competent retro sci-fi horror movie with a character I can care about please.

The Aliens trailer looks good, but then the first Prometheus trailer also looked good - and the director hasn’t got a glowing record. But I suppose I’m still optimistic that it will be fun at least.

One for the younger audience and their dads. Love reading these books with the boy and excited to see this film version. Good cast as well and it looks just like imagined.

Totally random and unimportant information but my wife's private teaching job of 15+ years came to an end during COVID when they shut the school down for good. Girl's only private school in the country, big stately home type dealio. Anyways, this was (partly) filmed there apparently, along with a couple of TV shows since as well. As you were people. |

It's basically a here's the entire movie broken down into 2 minutes type trailer.
Still no sign of most of the humans from the Godzilla side though which is good for me

That looks abysmal. Godzilla and Kong as past paced action films really doesn't do anything for me.
Dan Stevens might be the only good thing about that film.

I have a vague memory of seeing an animated version of Orion Pax being transformed into Optimus Prime, but the story was absolutely nothing like that. I think there may have been time travelling Transformers from the future involved?
