I think Boy Kills World and Borderlands both look like a lot of fun!
Not sure on the approach Kevin Hart is taking mind you. Seemed a bit flat giving everyone else was dialled up to 11.

Roland is supposed to be the the dry, sensible one, so without having seen the trailer that kind of makes sense.
Quite why you'd go to Kevin fucking Hart for that role is beyond me....

i'll watch borderlands but is has problems. lileth is not .. right & tiny is not deranged/crazy enough.

I'm guessing Borderlands is one of those blank canvas games that lends itself to new stories for films adaptations.
It's not an IP that has signifcant mass market appeal outside of gaming nor is it one with a great story to tell.

I enjoyed the Borderlands flavour when it first came out, but now it's just so... extra. And exhausting. I know people love Tiny Tina, but to me she's everything I loathe about the series contained in one character.
It's cool if people like it, maybe I just have different tastes now.
(or I'm just old and don't understand the youngs)

They captured the aesthetic quite well, so I'll probably give it a watch just for the spectacle of it.
Just feels like pretty awful casting all around really. Big names rather than someone who fits the role.
Blanchet looks bored as fuck, whoever plays Tina comes across as just an annoying teenager rather than an unhinged psycho, JLC just walks around looking confused, Kevin Hart simply exists...
With some obvious exceptions they're all decent actors, so you wonder how the fuck they got involved with this.

I stopped watching that half way through as it looks right up my alley and horror trailers always end up spoiling the scares!

Saw the Furiosa trailer before Dune 2 last night. Looks really spectacular but not 100% convinced on Anya Taylor-Joy. She seemed a bit light In the trailer, although she’s been excellent in everything I’ve seen her in.

The Crow is an iconic book, look and soundtrack. It's a good story but a terrible film (I personally hate the way it's put together). I think Bill will play this really well, but it's probably not going to do anything for the generation that grew up on the original.

I think I'm very much in the minority of someone who grew up on and loved the original but also welcomes this remake. Love Bill Skarsgard so I'd watch him in anything, and I think by the look of the trailer I'll definitely get something out of it.

Still surprised that when Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling did their little tribute to stunt people at the Oscars that they would be announcing that finally the stunts would be getting the recognition it deserves but no it was a fairly transparent promo for their new film, just as well as it looks rather fun. Lee Majors better have a cameo though, especially as he visited the set in Australia.
