I'm just waiting the inevitable and some pervert to bring up their love for Terry's Turkish Delight. Terry’s Turkish Delight is absolute shite. Fry’s Turkish Delight on the other hand is the stuff of gods and you heathens don’t have a pallet sophisticated enough to appreciate it.

It took me far too long to realise how delicious actual Turkish delight was because of those vile bars putting me off the real thing.

I'm assuming the no mention of Tunnock's Caramel Wafer (currently £1.65 for 8 in Lidl) has not been mentioned as it's clearly the King of all chocolate bars.

Wut? The King of all chocolate bars?

I like an OG Toblerone, but white chocolate ones are too sweet. White chocolate anything is too sweet for me.

Outside of Toblerones, there's very little white chocolate I like - Milkybar, for instance, is awful.

A little white chocolate goes a long way. Lovely in small doses - like on a strawberry or drizzled on a brownie.
But too much is deadly… The Milkybar Kid must have prayed for death after two days on set.

I loved a Fry’s Turkish Delight as a child. I would nibble and crack the chocolate off the…..substance and then eat it all in one.
How about a Ruffle bar anyone mentioned them?

jono62 I dunno - I like dark chocolate, but I never want more than one piece at a time (especially when you start getting into the 80-90% cocoa territory). By contrast, I could probably polish off a white Thorntons Easter Bunny in one sitting.

Turkish delights are disgusting.
Almost as vile as Jaffa Cakes.

Today I’ve had two dairy milk fruit and nut orange boost bars, one twix, one crème egg, two mint penguins
The mint penguins were surprisingly great, never had them before
Crème egg was the best though

Daim bar mate. Let me spell it out for you, "D I M E", daim bar. The Damnmmm bar as my mum calls it based on the noise dad makes when he first snacks into one.
The taste is simply so unique!!!
Not sure the ratios constitute it being a chocolate bar though.

I like watching Americans who have relocated to the UK and come to the realization that UK confectionery is god tier. They subsequently make quaint TikToks about them raiding their local supermarket or cornershop for new flavour hits.
You can't beat a Double Decker, it has to be said.

You need to have that experience of going to the US, eating a Hershey's bar and slowly realising how fucking disgusting they are.
I like a Daim, but much like a Crunchie it has the issue of gluing itself to your teeth, requiring you to excavate helf the bar out from your teeth long after you've finished.

I am alarmed though to have seen a distinct rise in Hershey's peanut butter cup easter eggs over here this year. What the fuck is this?
