What Paul needs to do... is throw himself in that river.

Don't get why Paul gets so much stick. He's a Traitor, he's trying to win.

The US one has John Bercow in it if that helps

I loved the first US season. Is the first one airing somewhere over here or are you having a snidey watch?
The trailer looks fun I wonder if they’ll all just trust Bercow automatically because he’ll have an authoritative air that suits the setting (from their american perspective)

Don't get why Paul gets so much stick. He's a Traitor, he's trying to win. I don't think he is actually trying to win the cash at all, just make himself into a media personality through his awful pantomime villainy he's subjecting the viewing audience to if not the people in the castle.
He comes over as a smug prick to the viewers.

Although I think the website I read it on has misunderstood, I think it will probably be a box set 24 hours after the final episode Further digging says Sky or Now TV, provided that its a package that includes Peacock

Hubris will do it for Paul eventually. He only just got lucky with his I’m too popular to fail dungeon plan and that doesn’t seem to have him second guessing his position.

Yeah, he fucked himself over with that. If he goes they will get a chance to recruit, but out of the remaining faithfuls I'm not sure who I'd want if I was a Traitor.

Recruit the person who stuck their head above the parapet and pointed at Paul. Although, if it’s like last year, the next recruitment is rejectable

I reckon someone like Diane or Andrew would be good because they couldn’t really stiffen up more.
I could see the pressure getting to Zack.
Jaz would be good if he could keep it together.
Bristol/Scottish too since the faithful wouldn’t know who to banish

Do you think Ross/Diane would give each other the nod if one of them was tapped up. If both got to the final they’d have a player on each side and guaranteed win.
Or would Claudia banish you for confessing?

Or would Claudia banish you for confessing? I was thinking about this too. I really don't know what they'd do. It feels like they shouldn't be able to, since its already a bit if an advantage having that link already. I'm not really sure why they throw these mini curve balls in at all really. I'm hoping next year one player will secretly be an android running on generative ai trained by the viewers.

That Paul moment with Jas was creepy and coercive, plus he just dobbed Harry in it, too.
Hopefully it leads somewhere, and not with jas being banished with lemming logic.

Considering how much effort it was for the traitors to find a fucking book it shows just how bloody stupid the faithful are in not spotting them, JFC.

Paul couldn’t have looked more guilty tonight. He’s been in control of the traitors and of the game and he’s absolutely rocked by the fact there’s someone he can’t manipulate.
Other highlights: Miles being completely shit at being subtle “oh no, its too hot in here, someone who is Paul please come outside?”
I hope Diane puts that cup down without sipping from it.

Paul is getting too cocky and he’s made Jaz more suspicious whilst also putting Harry ( who’s been amazing) on his radar too. I was sorry to see Antony go but the Faithful are doing a bad job and just going on the ‘you were so different at the train station on the first day; now you’re too quiet’ shit. They need to step up

I know there’s pressure in the castle and the edit does a lot of work but Antony is totally different on Ed Gamble’s show now.
After hearing about Jaz’s past its no wonder he’s alert to manipulative charismatic men.

The mans clearly got an ego on him and he’ll get nasty if things start slipping out of his control.

Finally caught up, thoroughly enjoying it again. Agree that Paul is playing it well and was lucky not to out himself earlier on. That convo with Jaz was diiiirty. Harry playing it nicely, although voting for Jonny was unnecessary and the crocodile tears got a big eye roll. Good stuff.

We're loving it just as much as the first series. They've tweaked the shields for the better, dishing out more, but otherwise it's not wildly different.
I was concerned the players would be a lot more aware of how the show works and behave in weird ways, but that's not really the case. They're a bit more direct with each other than last year, but the player behaviour hasn't altered enough that the producers have had to start doing things to counteract. Gives me hope that the show will be able to continue for many series at a high level.
Harry is this year's Wilf. Absolutely superb.
