What a finish. She knew, she had to but she couldn’t make herself believe it.
No one else has done it as well as Harry has in any other series I’ve watched. But Jaz man, if he had any sway in the group it would’ve been over.
I’d love to know how things went down in production after she stormed out.
I love that we had proper narrative arcs this series, first Paul and his supervillain approach, the red herring of the revenge plot, then into a wicked cat and mouse thing and genuine emotions too not just sleep deprived contestants weeping because they’re exhausted.

95 grand but shown he'll take advantage of a vulnerable woman to do it, well done. Come now, it's a game show. She should have worked out why Jaz voted to banish again. He clearly wouldn't have done that if he was a traitor. Harry played the game fair and square. Well, as much as a traitor can.

He could have at least shown some remorse but he clearly didn't.

It was frosty on Uncloaked.
She still sounded like it was pretty raw even they probably taped this back in August.

He could have at least shown some remorse but he clearly didn't. He just won 95 grand with so much adrenaline going through. And you could see his initial reaction he struggled. And it's a game, he won. Epic tv though, absolute blinder of a season and Harry grew into the Traitor role perfectly. Feel for all the final 3 that lost. Still couldn't tell the blonde Scottish lady out from the other lady I thought she was.

Mollie work it out, if Jaz was a traitor he'd have gone green, will she wake up?
edit : oh dear
Also this. Shepherding a lovestruck girl to the final was a masterstroke.

I need to binge the other serieses from around the world.
I assume the US one is crap?

I've only watched the first season of the US one and the normies got pretty much pushed into the background and the reality TV people got all the attention, it was alright but having people who already knew each other, not that they were on the same show but clearly mix in similar circles, certainly reduced the potential. The second season is all reality TV people, it's also not available on iPlayer yet.
I didn't watch the first Aussie season, I'll probably binge that before going for the second.

That was a tense final, and horrible to watch for Mollie, but can't say he didn't deserve to win it. What a horrible game, can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed the US one. Alan Cumming is next level and the celeb v civilian thing vanishes as the game progresses. Especially since as a Brit I didn’t know who any of the reality tv people were. The Aussie first season is really good, less camp but very competitive. The only slight negative about the US one for me is that its filmed on the same set and presumably at the same time as the British one so while the drama is all about the people in the show so its a very different game, it does share most (all?) of its challenges with UK one There is one not reality tv contestant on season 2 of the American one; a former Tory MP. I hope the producers manage to keep out the applicants who just want to use it as a springboard to something else. The joy of all four series I’ve watched so far has been how invested everyone has become and how different the games are depending who is in them. Getting Big Brother/Love Island wannabes in could kill it so fast.

I have to say that while I enjoyed the US one, I do think its my least favourite because of the celeb involvement. I just think it adds an unnecessary (and potentially unfair) power dynamic.
Apparently the original versions started with celebs, but I really like seeing (reasonably) ordinary people so far, and will probably start to get more worried as we see more series and the contestants applying start to potentially change to those who are fans of the original show and playing up to things, which is what I think seems to happen with other shows like this. I hope they find a way to keep a balance to the players.

After Ross’s wink this series - which was great - there’s a definite risk of people trying to mug to the cameras Tim/Jim from The Office style in future.
Or even just trying to unpick the mechanics of the game rather than fully invest.
On celebs, I didn’t think it was an issue on the American one but agree its probably better to be all civvies or all celebs just to put everyone on even footing to begin with.

Next UK season there should be no couples/familial relationships, let the players think there maybe something as it's happened twice already but deliberately avoid it.

The next season there should be all traitors, each in separate groups of three going into their own little towers.

Watched the first episode of season 1 of the Australian version and enjoyed it but the timing of it seems weird (in the game not me watching it at 1:00AM on a Saturday. S0101 - Australia spoilers
Everyone rocks up, has a nice meet and greet to get to know each other, traitors get picked, some more mingling, then it's bedtime. The traitors now murder someone, before any tasks have even been attempted, breakfast - murdered person is gone. Task isn't until that night, done, banishment isn't until the following evening but there's no murder that night. Following evening, after everyone appears to be left to their own devices all day, banishment happens, Traitors plot their next victim, roll credits. It just seems really strange after the methodical order that the UK and US series does things from the start - task-banishment-murder with only the occasional deviation.

I think I need a break before starting any more series. I find it far too stressful. Yeah, I think we'll prob skip the overseas versions for similar reason. I don't wanna overdose on it and with so much good telly these days I don't need to binge entirely on Traitors, as good as it is. Think it'll be a January treat for us each year.

I'll probably get around to it at some point but not for a while yet.
Claudia had all the finalists on her R2 show today. Hopefully it'll be available as a podcast. Heard a snippet of Harry and Mollie and she apparently recovered quite quickly.

She was so good. I think her performance really divided people but its a good example of someone having their reality tv persona and real life one collide.
I’m also quite excited to see what Alan is going to wear on season 2. The way things were going on the first one I’m half expecting him to be dressed as a bishop if they do the same funeral task the Brits did.
Since Claudia never claims to own the castle but Alan does, does that mean its traitors canon that he’s just letting her run her own game within the challenges he’s set around his estate?

Ha. Just done the same myself.
She must feel like *such* a fool. Must be so humiliating to have lost like that.
I was talking to some people irl the other day about this and how I just could not be contestant on this series. It just seems psychologically *brutal*.

Fair play to Harry, when I saw him at the start smiling, I thought he's going to give it away easily but he was excellent. He schooled Paul who thought he was the main man.
