Short. Taking me 2.5 hours but thought I should finally give it a go. I enjoyed the general story even if dubbing was weird. The monster design was cool and the art and setting were interestingly done. The final chase sequemce was a bit annoying but I got through it in about half a dozen attempts. Had enough little storyvbits I didn't predoct even if the main beats were fairly easy to predict. Sound effects wprked well with Akira Yamaoka back on the job. Worth the play through as it is free.

Disappointed - I thought this would be a Forza rip off, but the areas are small self contained areas that aren't that much fun to drive around, plus I ended up ignoring most of the events as I'm not sure you can realistically get gold medals until you are fully levelled up. Races are ok but the rubber banding is insane to the point that you can shoot someone at point blank, explode them but they are virtually unhindered. It also has live service stuff everywhere and I've been leveling up some season thing with zero clue what it does. I find that so unattractive when the very first title screen that should pull you in is trying to sell incomprehensible shite to you.

Went in completely blind on this one as it seemed to look pretty, it was way darker than I expected, and brutal at times. Doesn't outstay it's welcome and a nice gameplay mix.

Forgot to add this one. It was good, but fell a bit short of the hype, I think. Then again the hype was ridiculous. It's much better than Outer Worlds for sure.

This is the first game I’ve completed in almost a month and it took a whopping 33 minutes. I just can’t pull myself away from Splatoon 3 at the moment. I was meant to be getting through my backlog, but I just want to paint things.
I do have about 2 missions left of the first Advance Wars and I’m 2/3rds of the way through Tomb Raider 2, so hopefully I will have more games to add before May is out.

Botany Manor is a wonderful relaxing/not taxing "puzzle, exploration game" game where you have to grow plants in the grounds of a beautiful mansion set in the 1800's if you want a stress free and chill game then this is the one for you. The graphical style and soundscape are wonderful. Took me around 9 hours to complete, (can be "beat a lot faster) but that is because I was in no hurry and just enjoying the sun, bird song and exploring the Manor.

Completed this yeeeaaars ago on DS and so good to replay on the big screen. It has taken me about three months as it's the perfect "save anywhere, dip in and out" game but really enjoyed it. Started the next one and forgot the graphical difference between this and the next two (which were on the 3DS) is huge so will take a bit of getting used to!
Otherwise I'm playing Grandia still, been on around. 17-19 hours for the last two weeks, save points are so far apart that I can only really play it if I think I've got a solid two hours which I don't seem to have for ages now.
Apollo Justice is my first proper completion in almost a month which shows how little time I seem to have currently!

Finally finished main story including most sidequests (except berserkers). Think I am on about 75 hours but seeing how much postgame stuff I can be bothered to do. 80% of main game trophies popped.
Enjoyed the story and setting and very pretty (played in performance). Combat is devent wnough and puzzles are generally fairly well judged. A few difficult to navigate areas slowed me down a bit while trying to find things. Plenty of bombast in the big scenes too. One day I will have to go back and finish the original Greek games I have owned forever...
Massively behind schedule still with less than one title per month, finding time mixed with a couple of long games have not helped. Also started back on Fallput New Vegas on Steam Deck. Not sure what next main game will be.

Classical RPG by a fairly small company. Liked it well enough, but had some performance issues (might be a memory leak) and the usual annoying RPG item clutter. It looks quite a bit like Pillars of Eternity because of the UI, but it's more comparable to Baldur's Gate 1.

Out of these games, Metal Saga was really interesting. It starts off awfull, first dungeon is truely atrocious. But if you use online maps to find 2 tanks early on the game really picks up. Really liked the open world and tank turn based combat. Star Ocean 3 started off great but the combat quickly turns into a slog. I know this was practically a launch title, but 4 is the better game.

I continue to distract myself with old games. This time with my all-time favourite; Super Metroid. I clocked in at just under the four hour mark with a completion percentage of 89%. I could go back for 100%, but it’s not like I haven’t done that countless times over the years.
It’s still an amazing game. It’s only flaw being the need for a sprint button, which complicates the controls somewhat as I need to remap them in order to roll my thumb from the jump button to either the sprint or shoot buttons, which can be tricky. Fortunately you don’t need to sprint often, but you want to hold a charged shot when you jump as it makes you temporarily invincible in the air.
Not sure where I go from here. The backlog remains steady.

Finally got round to finishing this and got 4 and have hammered half of it already.
Last message I sent was 9th May when I said I'd played about 17 hours of Grandia, now on 24 hours so shows how little I'm able to play PS at the moment. Doesn't help that the PS Portal grinds to a halt when the wife streams 4 on Demand or whatever it's called despite 900mbps internet, fucking ridiculous.
