I think my actual favourite moment was that guy who had a burst pipe and carried on like he was in the Poseidon Adventure then lost his mind when people started laughing about it. And the guy who bumped the VR thread three years after I said VR would do fuck all to crow about how wrong I was because VR was actually doing bugger all. Silentbob? Thank you! I remember it was after the fact that he lost his mind and it started with a conversation about batteries and then spiralled from that. I do miss a good emoquit. |

What was the thing to do with the U.K. taekwondo champ? Can’t quite remember. Hi, that's me. Lived with guy who happened to be a taekwondo champ at the time. Slept with his sister. Thought that it was a solid idea to ask for advice on public forum. Huge embarrassment and deleted the thread way beyond when I should have. Zero consequences though for those that want an update. There were so many posters repeating the words “UK Taekwondo Champion” that the thread became the top hit on Google for anyone searching for taekwondo |

Other than all the obvious ones already mentioned, I always enjoyed staring at richardiox avatar gif whenever the opportunity arose. I ported it over to here actually - but Gremmi asked me to change it as it went against this boards' TOS. Was it the one with some anime girl running, bouncing her tatas off? Good times  |

Most of the big ones have been covered, there was also Razz's adventures with broomsticks and irons, and the whole snapped banjo string reminiscing.
To be a bit twee and a lot more recent, the creation of this place and the addition of the RPS crowd has been one of those Very Good Things.

Did he just randomly admit to that then? Or was he spotted doing a line off the disk tray on social media or something? Pretty sure he just admitted it. The thing is, he obviously wasn't in a good way, because that wasn't rational, and that's a shame. He no doubt had good intentions for the money but if you're in a pit of despair, then a quick endorphin hit of, well, gaming and drugs, could have been the thing he thought he needed. Sex, drugs and Stephens sausage roll! |

There was was an user that both had their irl name in their username and talked about his job a fair bit cos he likes showing off that it was in TV.
Anyway, one day he posted his disgust about how the first atuocomplete suggestion in Google when he typed in "Japan" was " Japanese girls shitting".
To which everybody took great delight in explaining how atuocomplete works, and serves up things you've recently already typed in yourself....
That was a fun one.

There was a user at the old place who wanted to practice his drawing and so took requests from everyone and would sketch out whatever naff shit he got asked for. Thinking about it now it was essentially a precursor to AI generated images but for the EG hive mind  Can't remember their username and I don't have any record of their old drawings. I wish I had framed my picture request though which was something like: 'Arnold Schwarzenegger ripping off the head of the Predator whilst shouting "see you at the party"' my profile pic is his work my prompt was 'a wheelbarrow staring mournfully at some chips' or something like that |
