Sin Vega, she's trans no? Wasn't she let go in the culling of writers not long ago or something? She was let go as a full time writer but the uproar had them bring her back freelance almost straight away. She does a very good in depth column on more hardcore strategy games as well as occasional columns on all sorts of things. Was it budget cuts? What caused the mass culling of writers? |

Sounds like a sci-fi character. Not gonna lie, it's one of the coolest names I've ever read. Like if Fast & Furious were an RPG and the character creator let you be Vin Diesel or Sin Vega. |

To the extent that browsing the site isn't really enjoyable anymore. Not that I'm an active poster. I just lurk there sometimees. |

I wonder what the tech stack could be? Is the CMS something really custom, or is it based off of a framework that's already out there (like Joomla, WordPress etc)? Our platform is written in Python and uses the Django framework with a lot of customisation. It's nice to use. We've purposely moved sites like RPS and VG247 away from Wordpress in recent years. Eurogamer has been running on the same PHP framework for almost two decades, so this migration is a big deal for us in many respects. Wish us luck! |

I feel as if the framework gets a really bad rep because of how awful some of the developers are that program for it. I don't visit RPS or VG247... Were those sites actually running on the WordPress framework at one point or another? Pretty neat if that were the case. |
