...maybe they're too busy yelling at each other and going "what do you mean site traffic's tanked, I thought we'd removed the forum hits from our total?? What am I going to tell Roger, he's on the other line having a meltdown!" It is site traffic from people that almost all will have adblockers on and not watch any of their front page YouTube videos so it’s not a loss to their revenue. |

Hold up a sec, I'm hearing in my earpiece that... yes, the front-page comments since 10am have been 98% forumites asking where the forum went. Of course. Reviewer I know, I'm not quite naïve enough to think we're going to hit their bottom line by not being there, but it's nice to imagine they'd at least notice *something* when we're gone

Was hoping to post it on there but time got away with me; I’m really sorry for being such a dick back over on EG. I definitely made it a worse place at my ‘peak’ (for want of a better word) I’m also super grateful to whoever setup this new forum, it’s kinda like EG never really went away! Clean slate innit. Would you believe there are people on here that don't care for me? I was simply heartbroken when the LegendaryApe stuck the knife in. We move on, onwards and upwards. Fontgeek, fuck yeah! Here to save the eg refugees dayyy! |

I deleted my account at EG yesterday as I'll never post on articles. I'll still use the main site for game related news until I come across something better and some of the DF content can be interesting.

I deleted my account a few years ago. I didn't really feel like I was contributing much and you could tell the forum was going to be closed off very soon.
I had no intention of reregistering but when I saw this place I thought it would be a shame really to not have somewhere to chat with people about pop culture.
So the death of the EG forum actually got me interested in this place again.
