How do you go straight to the last page in a thread from the forum on mobile view? I alway get sent to first page and have to go to last page from there

It was underwhelming. I was expecting a goodbye page "forum is closed, see you on the home page" or something like that. At least Craigy popped in to say no one at eurogamer gives a shit about the community that made their website a success, that was nice. |

Well, whilst I was f5'ing the last few moments and adding a few comments, my wife had spent 30mins re-reading 'The Poo Diaries' thread from start to finish. Between the laughs and the exclamations of disgust I think now she understands what we just lost.

Was hoping to post it on there but time got away with me; I’m really sorry for being such a dick back over on EG. I definitely made it a worse place at my ‘peak’ (for want of a better word)
I’m also super grateful to whoever setup this new forum, it’s kinda like EG never really went away!

Sad to see the EG Forum finally close.
I might not have been the most prolific poster, but it was a constant in my life for a good 20 years and even when I lurked more than I participated, it was nice to know there would be some familiar names there.
I’m really glad this place seems to be carrying the baton - too many communities don’t survive something like this but it’s nice to know I’ll see you all around!

same same killer bee, my left middle finger has been evolving for 20 years into a weird shape from pressing 'E' so autofill takes me EG forums (found it quicker than bookmarking)

You'd think the initial forum community probably had a really big impact on the development of the site in its early days.
Even if that's not the case, it represents the most loyal users of the website, I hope he had the decency to drop on the forum and say cheers?

I am reminded of that time when myself, nick, gremmi, neilka and assorted others found a way to spy on and post in group threads. First thing we did was read the mod threads, and then onto spamdangled's group where he was bitching about us. We didn't manage to keep that trick a secret for long and craigy was forced to patched it. ed: oh yeah, so the point of that thought; I wonder if there's still a way in? I remember that think i spied on the mods too and a secret members group  |
