Hmmm, while I am guilty of a pile on I try to do it only for the the true water headed out there. I've never bought the toxic tag that gets used by people, there also does seem to be a correlation with people who act like cunts. Admittedly there is a stage of ribbing that you have to get past to be fully integrated here which can be quite a ride of you've got thin skin but I've found the community to be supportive where it counts. It definitely helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer. There's the genuine community stuff, there's largely nonsense discussion about things that don't really matter, and then there's shitposting. People seem to take the last two extremely seriously sometimes, which is weird. 3 sometimes bleeds into 2, but who really cares, it gives some personality here and there. |

What do we do if this forum becomes cool and we get an influx of incels, then everything slides down the libertarian pipeline toward full blown nazi, onward to genocide and plays out it's grand finale in a nuclear holocaust? I mean, it wouldn't be the first time. Who should the daily mail blame?

I'm quite chuffed that I don't 100% know what an incel is and would have to Google to be certain.
I'm less chuffed that this time next year I'm going to be ticking another age group on surveys and that there's only one left after that...
As for the other forum, I think they seem like a decent bunch and the more the merrier really as sadly forums seem like a thing of the past, like I'm becoming far too rapidly. Ref adverts, I don't mind them myself, but I'll pay towards keeping them off if people want that.
