I might give it a quick google then just to close it out.

I really hate collectables missions in games when it's just about finding things which are randomly hidden and it's just deliberately obtuse. It's just lazy design imho.

Some would be found by essentially entering all the dwellings you find in the lower city. But the last one I feel would never be found by chance. (I can't actually remember how I found it!!)

I had to Google at least half a dozen quests as had no clue how to find them and nearly all of them after I read what to do I would have never done it without hours of aimless wondering around or randomly clicking on the correct thing.

After bitching through a lot of the first play through about difficulty my second run as a barbarian has been almost entirely very easy.
I'm on my second run now. 1st run played as a Paladin, currently playing as a Bard.
I am also finding the second run much easier. I guess it helps that I have a greater understanding of the games mechanics and which powers are useful.
I am also amazed at how much NEW content I am finding. The 2nd run I am playing as the Dark Urge, and there are so many different scenes. My 1st playthrough I slaughtered everything in the Goblin Camp almost as soon as I arrived. This time I get to explore at my leisure and talk to everyone.
This is certainly the best RPG I have ever played for replay-ability. Loving it all over again.

I probably won't play it again for years if at all, but a Dark Urge run would be how I'd go if I did. That said, whenever I've tried to play as evil in RPGs I never end of going the distance. Typically, being a total bastard ends up a getting bit depressing rather than funny. Maybe it'll be different in this though, the writing is so good.

So.. the inter-dimensional circus are in town and I'm looking for the body parts of Dribbles the Clown...
Love this game.
Combat went well. Got an excellent gold trident from the jungle that seems to suit Karlach and I had lots of success with Cloudkill and shoving enemies back into it.
Between this and Rogue Trader I'm spoilt for quality rpg's.

Man I’m frozen with indecision (end game spoilers) The easiest thing to do would be to give the stones to the emperor. But Karlach wants to go out a hero and that seems like a fitting end for her. She’s probably my favourite character so I want to right by her. I’m guessing that means I have to piss off the emperor but then he’s a bit of a cunt anyway.

Right I am going to give this a proper go (ps5) well maybe I am. I'm only about 6 hours in and that was played when it released, just rescued a little chap tied to a windmill! is it wrong to have the female members of my part dressed only in their smalls, they are very nice smalls... While playing earlier, I stripped all characters completely billy-bollocks, I then called my missus into where I was playing on the pretence of asking for her help (she has over 200 hours on pc version) she simply looked at my tv and shook her head while walking out. LOL

Spoiler free if you have done act 1. Not much spoiler anyway but nothing if done act 1. I enjoyed it.

As mentioned I am currently on my 2nd playthrough as a Bard.
The main characters I have mostly changed all their classes to change up the experience.
Main Character - Bard. Its a great fun class so far.
Wyll - Changed to Monk. I initially thought Monk would be boring just hitting things with my fists, but its super fun and Wyll is pummelling everything to a pulp. He literally gets 3 attacks each time including his bonus action.
Gale - Changed to Sorcerer. Less spells than Wizard, but more options overall being able to target more than 1 enemy at once etc. Also being able to take flight for repositioning is super cool and effective,
Astarian - Changed to Ranger, which is the best decision ever. I hated his Rogue class and never used him before. The Ranger is super good though. He gets to attack twice, is super good with the bow. He also has an choice of animal companions which are super effective. This class is working really well for him, unlike Rogue.
The team is gelling so much so, that I have increased the difficulty to Tactician. The only problem is that there is no room in the party for the ladies at the moment, its a road trip for the lads.

I didn't see it either, I was just enjoying the idea of new D&D classes. Misogynist, Racist, Bigot... all perfect for an evil play through.

Was tough to see but it’s what she wanted and made sense. Cleared the courtyard without too much trouble. It’s helpful when they line up nicely in corridors. Hello wall of fire, lightning bolt and sun beam! . I have a lot of allies waiting. A room full in fact. I even managed to convince Voss to help after Karlach feasted on his prince’s brain.
I don’t want to use them too early but I’m guess the next part is the final part so might as well bring them in. The end is near!

My Tav was a Monk. What's nice is the "using dex instead of str" thing applies to quite a lot of weapons as "monk weapons" is quite a broad category.
I found there's also a lot of fun Monk gear in the game, especially in Act 3.

There seems to be loads of Monk gear compared to the other class-specific stuff. Which is slightly odd given that none of the companions is a monk unless you respec them. (I made Jaheira a Monk with 3 levels in Rogue to get the extra Bonus Action).

I’ve managed to take out Ethel (that was tricky, had very limited spells left) and the spider queen (went down first try, quite easy), am 2/3rds through level 4. What should the next challenge be? Finally go to the goblin camp, rescue the duke or go back to the grove and confront the leader over a note I found?
Loving it so far, power level really short up at level 4 (and changing shadow heart to a life cleric helped as well).

Whats great about the game is that there is no right order to do things. The game will advise you when you are about to progress to Act 2 and to make sure to wrap up any loose ends. Before this time though, you can do anything it whatever order you so please. So don't fret over it too much.
Although I would probably confront the leader of the grove first if it was my choice. Some quests can kind of play out so it makes previous ones irrelevant and may then lock you out of those quests.
It's difficult to advise as there is so much choice and consequence in this game. My 1st playthrough i slaughtered all the goblins on arrival. My current playthrough I was on more favourable terms and I ended up speaking to them all and met some interesting characters.
Its barmy what Larian have achieved honestly.

I'm going Shadow Monk on my current playthrough with the intent of adding some Rogue, so I can move around freely back-stabbing and doing crazy amounts of Kung Fu damage. As basically monk weapon and finesse backstab weapon overlap quite nicely.

Ok I’m ready to climb to the netherbrain. I was quite there before. All intact although I had to revive the emperor about 3 times on the way up. The useless twat. Looking forward to calling in all my allies, especially the strange ox . That whole thing was just really weird so looking forward to seeing what happens (probably nothing).

Finished! Although I had to put PS5 back into rest mode before the cut scenes were finished.
I believe there are several endings so I will reload the last save a couple of times..
