For our anniversary we had a £100 gift card (that my other half had won) to spend in a Miller and Carter and spunked it all on far too much steak and now I'm nearly comatose.

You weren’t asking me but yes, I do, even though it’s a rebadged Toby Inn or some such.

The apps on my TV use the remote control's back button inconsistently. On some it will take you back through the various app screens, others will dump you back to the home screen.

I haven't been to an Harvester for what must be nearly 30 years, but the difference between the two seemed more than 'slightly' up-market

The guide on my cheap Samsung tv arranges the channels top down. You move ‘up’ the channels on the guide by pressing the channel ‘down’ button. I mean ffs

The worst part of having a beard is having to thoroughly wash it (and then wash it again) after a frisky sesh with t'other 'arf

I can picture the poor lady, sitting in a bathtub of ice, spread eagle like Geralt, thighs red raw from the thorough servicing provided by user Cubby.
That's the cost of some bearded Cubbylovin

Lost the TV volume remote control. Gotta turn that knob by hand FFS. It's like stepping back into the 80s.

Your tv has a knob? The contents of the refrigerator aren't the only vintage thing in Fred's gaff

No our TV sounds come from old school speakers via an amplifier.

As soon as you spunk that £23 you're going to find the old one.

Think of it as £23 well spent imo in that case

No our TV sounds come from old school speakers via an amplifier. Ah fair enough, that makes sense. I had one years ago, and will hopefully get another when the kids are older.
