I'm trying a different type of apple (pink ladies are getting too expensive) and this type is just too juicy.

I only like them sliced. Hate eating an apple as god intended. Such a chore.

A) use a proper apple slicer B) cut it into segments into a bowl in the kitchen C) feel all manly and go at it with a knife eating the segments off the blade?

No, just a bog standard butter/dinner knife and a small chipped plate. I never ever feel manly and elaborate apple rituals are not gonna change that 😂

Our cleaner couldn’t make it on Friday so we said no bother we’ll just skip this time and did it ourselves over the weekend. Turns out today they came over when we were out and cleaned our clean house anyway.

The Blue Ray app on my Series X keeps bugging out and the tv goes black while the sound continues. It’s really annoying having to keep turning it off and on again every 10-30 mins.
I may have to resort to getting the ps5 out of storage, and setting it up again as it never did this with discs. Another inconvenience, and I don’t really want two consoles out at the same time for obvious reasons of feng shui.

Started using the VLC app instead.

Doing a thorough clean ready for Xmas. God the bathroom is the worst job. Difficult to perhaps not sound like a terrible misogynist here but when my partner and in particular near-teen daughter can’t resist sneaking more and more products into this tiny space it really makes it difficult. About every three months or so I’ll manage to negotiate a cease fire where some stuff is put in the cupboard, it lasts about a week. Literally one third of the bath top is covered by baskets and loose bottles of every hair product imaginable, plus shower caps and for some reason about sixteen razors.
I on the other hand have a bar of (communal) soap, a Vosene and one pump-action beard wash.

My brother and I had Vosene pencil cases when we were at school.
I didn't know the shampoo still existed – might have to track it down!

Smells nice, but pretty harsh on the hair.

The original Vosene formula was changed in the late 80s as it used to contain coal tar and be carcinogenic.
*The more you know!*

That Spotify have spent so much money on podcasts, but the app always takes me to the latest episode rather than the one I was listening to, forcing me to scroll through a massive list, is baffling.
How can such a simple feature be missing or hard to find?

I find Spotify incredibly unintuitive.

Not too mention when you have downloaded music, but no internet, the app takes minutes to even load the list of downloaded episodes

How can such a simple feature be missing or hard to find? If you've listened to all the episodes after the one you want, then you can filter to only Unplayed at the top of the episode list. (Or if you've listened to all the episodes before, then you can do that and also sort by Oldest.)

Tidal was fucking useless in comparison. Basically unusable if I wanted music on my commute to work even if the playlist was downloaded.

It works, you just need to wait for like upwards of 30 seconds for no reason.
