Not watching, but reading texts. Sounds like England have gone to shit, who would have thunk it.
Oh and the band are there. Even more reason not to watch.

Turned on for the second half.
That could have been a pen and even if it wasn’t it should have been pulled back for a free kick for a foul on Kane. Still despite that he still played a perfectly weighted through ball. You can always tell how well someone actually understands the game by their comments on Kane.

Bellingham is ridiculously good. Sort of player that could drag you through a tournament.

Lovely goal, Bellingham is on a different level. Thought Rashford over egged it at first but great finish.

Well that was rather better than I expected, I thought Rashford maybe should have passed it right, glad he didn't.

How is Bellingham only 20? Not only is he a ridiculously complete footballer, he's got the attitude and confidence of someone who's been at the top for 10 years.

I just hope Bellingham doesn’t burn out. We’ve seen it so many times with players reaching those levels that early in their career.

We are actually playing some pretty nice football to be fair. Good positive little passes.

We look good this half but Pickford just doesn't fill me with confidence at the back

Better England scoreline than most would have expected I think.

Great stuff. Thought I'd accidentally logged on to Twitter with the misery on display in here when I popped in during first half.

Kane is such a good 10 as well as 9. You could probably switch him and Bellingham and we'd do fine.

Not a slight on England's performance but when you look at that Italian team it's the worst one I've ever seen on paper. They have had so many great players over the years and there isn't one of them in that squad.

Kane is such a good 10 as well as 9. You could probably switch him and Bellingham and we'd do fine. I am slightly concerned that Kane/Bellingham/Maddison has the potential to become the new Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes in that it may not actually be possible to make good use of all of them and we’re in for several years of debate over which ones should play and where etc. I’d like to see us play a little more fluidly with them switch up positions as needed but it’ll take a braver manager than Southgate.
