Some surprising TT results these past days. UAE found the special aero sauce? They have good aero setup this year for sure. Paris Nice TTT was messed up a bit by rain though, they still had had a stacked team, would of podiumed anyway.

It was quite the look. Very, um, glans-ish at first glance.

I can totally see how aero they make that head/shoulder bit cutting in to the wind, but, fuck me, they look comical at that size. If the UCI can ban turned in levers, when that’s just the best way to mount them, they can bloody well ban these things!

I’d love to know the safety testing data of those in the case of impact, I expect you’d break your neck if you fell

Good to see Bernal mixing it up with the mountain goats again.

Definitely! He’s been on good form this quarter. Didn’t Froome have a good result in the TT yesterday?

Definitely! He’s been on good form this quarter. Didn’t Froome have a good result in the TT yesterday? I know he had a good race at Tour of Rawanda. Saw thathe came off on a training ride or something this morning and fractured his hand. Should be ok for Tirreno. With the demise of gcn+ I havn’t caught too much racing this seasons so far. Strade Bianchi was the first race I watched all year. Good to hear Bernal has been going well. Must have been really difficult mentally and physically to get back to a good level. Same with Froome.

Ah, it was Monday's T-A TT: he came 103rd(!), a minute behind Ayuso, but beat Carapaz and Uijtdebroeks. I presume both of those riders would want to do well in GC…

A VPN to Australia and you can watch SBS which has most races (for some reason) 👌

MSR Saturday, also season 2 of the Jumbo Amazon docu. Something to watch while the absolute snooze fest of the first 250k is on.

If you want something cool to watch (and get yourself hyped for De Ronde), I can't recommend these enough. #RondeTreasures: De Ronde 104 - Behind The Scenes www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESNeRrkrf9M&t=15s

It was nice to have a small bunch for that final few k and not really know where the chips were going to fall Shame Pidcock ran out of gas and VdP pulled the lot of them back for Phillipsen to have that shot, guess that’s the luck of having a strong teammate still standing at that point.

Yeah, really like Pog, just nothing about the team he rides for. If he wins this year it’s going to be off his own effort, not quite the depth around him.

Yeah, it's a real shame, as I'm sure she had a good few years left, but if you're not feeling it, then you're not feeling it and aren't going to get to the level you need/would like to be at.

Vandepoel vs Van Aert, mano a mano in the E3 Saxo Classic.
20 second gap, 36k to go.

Mads looked the strongest on the climbs as well, think MvDP still had a bit of E3 in the legs. The rematch at RVV next week, with Wout thrown in to the mix, should be good. Meanwhile Pog goes and wins a reduced bunch sprint at Catalunya, because he can.

Hah. When I last tuned in I’d seen Soler was in the lead and thought he was going to get a gift while Pogi saves his legs with 3 mins in the bank.

Tried to give it to Soler, tried to give it to Almedia, neither could make it stick so they just went with the fall back of Pogi winning.

Hah, just watched the highlights of GW. Milan went off the front as MvdP was chowing down. He didn't seem too fussed. Think he's going to get leaned on quite a bit by teams who have two or more threats.
