n0misNice photos. It's nice to see isn't it? A few years back they finished the race near me and the following year it started round here too. Was great to see and unbelievable to see how many motorbike cops were used for the rolling roadblocks. Had a wee chat with some of the bike cops and seeing the buses with washing machines and bikes getting hosed down etc was interesting. You did better than me with WvA- we just saw him heading in to the doping control area, so didn't get a chance to chat.  A mate had a very brief chat with cav's missus though.

Any experts on kids mountain bikes?
My (tall for age about 160cm) 12 year has outgrown semi decent 26” GT bike and I’m going round houses finding a youth/ teen suitable bigger bike.
He’s Started to head to local woods with mates finding / digging ramps / jumps etc and I’d like to go take him to nearby mtb trails over the next few years so something semi decent but I can’t pin one down so just wondering if anyone here has any up to date knowledge on this
Can’t seem to get anything decent for less than £500 but don’t want too high in case of damage or theft.
I’ve spotted Orbea Onna 27 XS Junior 40 which seems tailored for the lighter weight of young teens.
Otherwise a specialised rockhopper trek Marlin 5 or voodoo variant but not sure of frame size and if the spec is suited to younger kids.
Decent examples seem to be holding value on eBay so would prefer news

Not an expert, but I don't think you can go far wrong with a 650b Rockhopper, just don't get the one with the terrible mechanical discs.

God, I saw a hastily mod deleted thread first thing this morning on Reddit. Someone mentioned his name there. She survived it but died later in hospital apparently.
The MvdP thing, I dunno. They were throwing piss on him the previous laps, a chinning might have been justified.

It's proper cycle season starting weekend ahead, Omloop Saturday, KBK Sunday. The Visma team for the Omloop is actually ridiculous, locking out the top 5 places doesn't look impossible.
Anyway, 12.45 GMT, Eurosport/Discovery.

Tadej attacking with 80km to go today.
Beats the racing of 20-30 years ago where they waited and waited until 30km to go before getting something.

First time any of the big guns vs each other today, Paris Nice, Remco and Roglic. 2 sprinter days first, so don't get too excited, though there's a climb near the finish today, may be one for the 'climby sprinty boys'?
