Also I would not choose clothing which is essential for people as an equal point of comparison to a video game. People generally shop in Primark as they need cheaper clothes to get by.

But yes, it is almost impossible to participate in capitalism without enabling the suffering of someone, somewhere. You can't really avoid it. But you can do your best to at least be aware of this kind of thing.
And it's probably easier to make boycott decisions about things that aren't, you know, necessities like food and clothing. Like videogames!
So... do what you want! We are all horrible people regardless.

But the general point is valid about this being the hill people choose to die on when there’s reports of abusive bosses, mandatory crunch, and sexual harassment at other companies but people need that new Red Dead or AssCreed or Witcher or Last of Us or whatever, but this game, where the terrible person in question isn’t even directly involved, this where the boycott happens run on sentence.

Fwiw I have no issue with people buying this, it's my personal choice not to because I think she is a horrible cunt.
Me not buying it does nothing to hurt her as she is already a billionaire, it just makes me feel like I'm making a choice thats right for me. Same as avoiding the world cup made no difference to anyone but me.
