I was surprised to find out that a good amount of the game isn't on the disc, I think it only holds the prologue, the rest you have to download. I'm not a fan of this kind of thing tbh, especially for a single player game.

I've already kicked off the download on my series X via the app, so it's ready to go whenever I inevitably cave in and buy it.
It really is a bit shit in the long term though. If you buy a game you should get the full bloody thing on the disc, which you can just pop in and play many years from now.

I mean I would rather they just made it digital only when they pull this kind of nonsense because it's actually more work for the consumer in the end. They also need to do away with the day one patch being the true game imo which is becoming more and more common because it often means the game on disc is usually broken.

It's funny (well, not funny) how it's changed. Like, if you went in and bought a copy of Destiny 2 on disc today. What the fuck are you actually buying, because whatever is on disc sure isn't the Destiny 2 that's there today. Thing is, I kinda liked that version of Destiny 2. I have the disc. Fucking useless.

Isn't the reason for that because the Xbox can only use 50gb blu rays and the game is about 125gb. Even the ps5 blu rays can only hold 100 afaik.
